Xiaomi has become the first telephone manufacturer in Spain by presenting dozens of models at competitive prices. When buying a brand phone we can choose different ways. Today there are five different types of channels: the mi.com website, Amazon, AliExpress, a third-party store and the different physical stores that Xiaomi has installed in Spain. The mobile warranty in each of these scenarios is different. In other words, the guarantee of a Xiaomi mobile purchased on the mi.com website is not the same as that of a mobile purchased in one of the brand's physical stores.
Xiaomi warranty in the online store mi.com
The warranty for products purchased through the official Xiaomi online store is 2 years. The management in this case must be carried out through the website itself through the relevant section or in one of the Anovo centers, the official Xiaomi technical service, in Barcelona, Madrid or Las Palmas. In this link you can find the opening hours of each of the centers, as well as the postal address.
In case of opting for the latter, we will have to attach the original invoice to certify the purchase of the terminal. If we choose the first way, the page will generate an RMA code that will help us to know the remainder of the repair. It should be noted that the shipping management will be at our expense: 5 euros per package for smartphones and small accessories.
Xiaomi warranty in Xiaomi physical stores
Since Xiaomi's arrival in Spain, the company has been installing different points of sale in several Spanish cities. The problem is that each of these stores acts as a single and independent center. In other words, the management of the guarantee must be carried out exclusively through a physical store. In other words, inquiries about products purchased through the official website will not be answered.

Warranty of a Xiaomi mobile in Amazon Spain
The management of the guarantee of the products purchased through Amazon depends on the distribution company. If the product has been sold or managed directly by Amazon Spain, the guarantee will be managed by the latter. During the first year we can use the Anovo service, although it is advisable to manage the guarantee directly from Amazon. But what if we bought the phone through a third-party seller?
In this case the guarantee will be borne by the store. It is advisable to manage the guarantee through the Amazon options to record what has been agreed with the store.
Xiaomi warranty in a third-party store (MediaMarkt, Worten…)
If we have bought a mobile from the brand through a third-party store, such as El Corte Inglés, MediaMarkt or Worten, the guarantee will be managed through them. During the first year we can resort to one of the Anovo centers to repair the terminal, although it is recommended to go directly to the store where the phone in question was purchased.
The reason is that the first year of warranty must be covered by the brand of the product, while the second must be covered by the store that distributed it.
Warranty in Spain for a Xiaomi mobile purchased on AliExpress
AliExpress, as an entity, has two platforms in Spain, AliExpress International and AliExpress Plaza. In both cases we will have to manage the guarantee through the options on the web. The difference between AliExpress Plaza and AliExpress Global is that the warranty extends up to 2 years. We can even call on Anovo's service to carry out the repair during the first year.
In the case of AliExpress International, the warranty is only 1 year. Being a product that comes from China, we will have to take care of both the shipping to the country and the costs.
