- What mobiles also receive AR Emojis from Zootopia?
One of the three emojis that we can find in the Zootopia pack for the Galaxy Note 9.
One of the most interesting features that Samsung has added to its terminals are the AR Emojis. They are emojis that use augmented reality and react based on our expressions. If we move to the side, the AR Emoji also moves. This feature that came with the Galaxy S9 + had the ability to add custom emojis from movies, such as Frozen or Disney characters. Now, receive a new pack with characters from the movie Zootopia. We have tested it on our Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and this has been our experience.
The new AR Emojis Pack can be downloaded from the Samsung app store. But first we will have to check that the package is available. To do this, go to the camera app, tap on AR Emoji and click the plus button. There you will see the available packs, and the one for Zootopia should come out. If so, click and install it. It will notify you when it is installed, you will only have to go back to the camera app, AR Emojis mode and the new icons will appear.
Exactly three characters arrive, although it is likely that others will be added later. The first to appear is the fox, one of the protagonists of the film. Also available is rabbit and sloth. All three have a design very similar to the characters, even with their respective clothes. The quality of the AR Emojis is quite good, with many details, such as clothes, eye color, eyebrows etc.
Fun emojis with many options
I have been able to make different movements of the face, mouth, eyes… in most cases the emoji has repeated my movements. Of course, none of the three sticks out their tongues or wink, and it is an action that you do yes or yes when using an AR Emoji. Another point that I would have liked is to change the background, customize it for a color, scene or situation, as happens with custom AR Emojis.
Something interesting is that we can move the camera a little away and we can see the rest of the body. That is, not only a face is shown floating as if it happens in the animojis of the iPhone. In addition, it continues to recognize gestures and expressions. Of course, they only apply to the face, and if we raise an arm it will not respond.
As these augmented reality emojis are in the camera , we can take photos or record video. We will only have to go to the mode, select the one we want and click on Photo or video. This will be saved in the gallery and can be sent or shared on social networks.
No possibility of custom GIFs
Unfortunately, they are not saved as GIFs, something that AR Emojis personalized with our face do. Of course, the gallery application has an option that allows us to go from video to GIF. Therefore, if we make a recording , then we can go to the gallery, play the video and click on the box that says "GIF" located at the bottom. Then, we select the duration of the GIf and click save. If you want to send it to a friend, colleague or share it on your social networks, you can do it as if it were a normal image.
What mobiles also receive AR Emojis from Zootopia?
Several company devices have support for AR Emojis, such as the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + and recently the Galaxy S8 and Note 8. These terminals receive the Zootopia pack with the three new emojis. Although in the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 models they may have some limitations.
