It seems that the Japanese company Sony is already working on what will become its first mid-range smartphone of this year 2014. It would be the Sony Xperia G, a terminal that has jumped to the media after a photograph was leaked in which you can see how it will look. The phone that stars in the photograph is the Sony Xperia Z1, while the mobile that appears “hidden” underneath is the Sony Xperia G on which we focus on this news. Being a mid-range mobile, we would find a screen size of approximately 4.3 inches or even slightly less.
In addition to what can be seen in the photograph, for now it is difficult to indicate the technical specifications that this mobile could incorporate. Some sources suggest that would be facing a smart phone that would incorporate a processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz with a memory RAM of 1 gigabyte.
Despite being a mobile belonging to the mid-range of the Xperia, the operating system that it would incorporate as standard could be Android 4.4 KitKat. This decision would coincide with Sony's recent plans to update a large part of its mobiles to the most recent versions of Android, as has happened in recent days with the Xperia T, TX, SP and V or as it is expected to happen with the Sony Xperia SP and its update to Android 4.4 KitKat. Along with the surprising rumor of the Sony Xperia G operating system, it is also worth noting the possibility that this mobile includes4G ultra-fast Internet connectivity, which in the absence of knowing more data would make this terminal one of the most complete mid-range equipment on the market.
All these specifications coincide relatively with the information that was released a few days ago about a new Sony Xperia with the name D5103, so at the moment it seems that all the rumors are supported by fairly reliable data. As already announced in the previous news, this terminal would compete face to face with an opponent of similar specifications: the Motorola Moto G. This mobile incorporates a screen of 4.5 inches, a processor running at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, a memory RAM of 1 gigabyte and up to 16 gigabytes of internal storage.
To know if all this information is finally true, we will have to wait until the next mobile phone event MWC (Mobile World Congress) that is held in Barcelona between February 24 and 27. The manufacturer Sony has already presented at the beginning of this year one of its most important mobiles, the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. Still, it is expected that this same event will also stop seeing other high - end phones such as the mysterious Sony Xperia Sirius, which would happen to the current Sony Xperia Z1 with specifications that include a memory RAM of 3 gigabytesand a main camera with a sensor of 20.7 megapixels.
