Samsung's mid-range is getting wider. The catalog of the Galaxy A series grows practically every month with a new model or the renewal of an old terminal. In Spain we can find more than 10 different mobiles. Some of these have already been discontinued, and are only found in third-party mobile phone stores. Others have already had their renovation. In this article I review the entire Galaxy A range, from the most powerful to the economic version.
And I start with the most powerful variants, and those that precisely have 5G. In Spain only one model is sold, the Galaxy A90. This is the 'successor' to the Galaxy A80. However, Samsung still sells the two models because there are quite a few differences.
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
It is Samsung's most expensive Galaxy A. Also the most powerful. The Galaxy A90 costs 750 on the Samsung website, although it can be found on Amazon for about 480 euros. This terminal stands out for its 5G network compatibility, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. In addition, it is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The mobile has a 6.7-inch screen with Full HD + resolution, as well as a 4,500 mAh battery.
The Galaxy A90 also has a very good photographic section, with a triple main camera of up to 48 megapixels. It includes an 8 megapixel wide angle lens and another 5 megapixel camera for depth of field. The front camera is 48 megapixels. In the camera settings we see some lag compared to other Galaxy A models. Samsung is likely to update this version soon, with a Galaxy A91.
Samsung Galaxy A80
Samsung Galaxy A80, one of the most interesting Samsung models, as it has a rotating camera.
This Samsung terminal has been one of the most interesting. It is also one of the most expensive. Mainly due to the inclusion of the rotating camera system. That is, the main lens can also be used to take selfies, since the module in the upper area is raised and the mechanism rotates to position itself in the front area, and thus we can take our selfies. The Samsung Galaxy A80 camera has a 48 megapixel main sensor, another 8 MP wide-angle lens and a depth camera.
In this way we also get an 'all screen' feeling, although it has the same size and resolution as the Galaxy A90 5G: 6.7 inches with Full HD + resolution. In terms of performance, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor, more focused on the mid-range, although with a larger configuration: 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy A80 is on sale on the Samsung website for 500 euros, while on Amazon it can be found for 525 euros.
Samsung Galaxy A71
This is the rear of the Samsung Galaxy A71.
The most recommended mid-range of the family. Also compared to the rest of the terminals of its price. The Samsung Galaxy A71 is a round device, with very good features for the price: 430 euros (390 euros in amazon). This mobile has a 6.7-inch screen with Full HD resolution. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor, as well as 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It is a very similar configuration to what we see in the Galaxy A80.
In the photographic section we already noticed changes compared to the Galaxy A80 . Here we find a quadruple main camera. The primary sensor is 64 megapixels. It is followed by a second 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and two more 5-megapixel lenses. They are dedicated to macro photography and depth of field. Also, the battery is 4,500 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy A51
And if you want a more modest terminal, with less screen and something cheaper, the Galaxy A51 is also another good option . The screen goes down to 6.5 inches, but maintains the Full HD + resolution and the widescreen format. In this case the processor is less powerful, an Exynos 9611 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, and the battery goes down to 4,000 mAh.
The photographic section is also slightly lower, although it maintains the quad camera configuration . The primary sensor is 48 megapixels. We also find the 12 MP wide-angle camera and the other two depth and macro lenses with 5 megapixel resolution.
What is the price of the Galaxy A51? It can be purchased on the Samsung website for 320 euros and on Amazon for about 300; something more lowered.
Samsung also keeps the Galaxy A50, the previous generation, for sale. It does it at a price of 285 euros (same price as the A51), but there are big differences in design, photographic section, screen and performance.
Samsung Galaxy A41
There is a cheaper option for the budget option of the Galaxy A71 (at least, that's how Samsung seems to plan it for us). It didn't make much sense to come up with a cheap version of the Galaxy A51, but the Galaxy A40 needed a makeover. E l A41 has come to Spain recently. Here we see lower performance, already focused on the mid / low range. The screen is 6.1 inches, and the AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution remains. However, the processor drops to a Helio P65 from MediaTek, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The battery is 3,500 mAh.
Regarding the camera configuration, here we see a triple main sensor: 48 megapixels, 8 megapixel wide angle and 5 Mpx depth sensor.
The Galaxy A41 is on sale for 300 euros.
Samsung Galaxy A31

This model is not yet sold in Spain, but it is likely that it can be purchased soon. It would come at an approximate price of 200 euros for a configuration with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A31 has a 6.4-inch screen with Full HD + resolution. Plus, a massive 5,000 mAh battery.
It has a quadruple main camera: 48 megapixel primary sensor, 8 wide-angle secondary sensor and two other 5 MP cameras with depth of field and macro.
Galaxy A30s
In Spain, the Galaxy A30s is still sold, which has very similar specifications, but with a different design and a triple camera instead of four lenses. Also, with a 4,000 mAh battery. The price of this mobile is 185 euros.
Galaxy A21

The Samsung Galaxy A21 is not sold in Spain, and the differences with respect to the Galaxy A31 are very few. This mobile has a 6.5-inch screen with HD + resolution and 3 GB of RAM. It has a quad main camera with a 16 MP primary sensor, another 8 megapixel wide angle lens, and two 2 megapixel cameras for macro and depth.
The price of this version is anyone's guess.
Galaxy A21s
Samsung recently renewed the Galaxy A21 with a slightly higher version. The camera configuration increases and is positioned like the one we see in the Galaxy A21, although the two macro and depth lenses remain at 2 megapixels. The screen remains at 6.5 inches, but the battery increases to 5,000 mAh. Again, this model has not reached Spain. At least for the moment.
Galaxy A10

The most economical model of the Galaxy A series, and the one that for the moment has not received renewal. Samsung has this mobile for sale for 170 euros. This mobile has a single 13-megapixel camera, as well as a 5-megapixel front. The screen is 6.2 inches with HD + resolution. In performance we find an Exynos 7884 processor, with up to 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It is a compact terminal with fair features for all those users who do not want to spend a lot of money and use it for browsing on social networks and little else. It costs about 131 euros.
Galaxy A10s
The Samsung Galaxy A10 also has a somewhat more renewed version, with a more powerful processor and a double camera. As well as an on-screen fingerprint reader. Of course, this model is not sold in Spain.
