Yesterday, during the presentation of the iPhone 4S, the prices of the new Apple mobile were given, although the information was subject to the subsidy that the operators that will put it on sale in the United States will apply to the different versions of the phone, introducing permanence commitments. Thus, supinos that the 16 GB iPhone 4S would cost $ 200, the 32 GB would amount to $ 300 and, finally, the one that incorporates a 64 GB internal memory would stay at $ 400. That is to say: 151, 226 and 302 euros, at the current exchange rate.
However, what if we want to buy it without having more obligation to our operator than paying the invoice regularly? In that case, as usual, it will be time to stretch the wallet. The price range starts at 650 dollars (or 490 euros, to change) for the 16 GB model. It is the starting price, according to Apple, so following the logical progression that the firm itself suggests in the subsidized formula, the 32 GB edition should cost 750 dollars (about 567 euros, at the current exchange rate), while the iPhone 64 GB 4S would be worth $ 850 (just over 640 euros, at the change).
Experience tells us that the export of products of this type in general and of Apple in particular does not imply a currency translation, but rather that the price figure is respected, only changing the official currency. This being the case, and even applying a minimum reduction to round off prices, the cost of the different versions of the iPhone 4S in our country could be around 600 and 800 euros, depending on the model we want to buy.
Thus, in practice the iPhone 4S would reach the same price that Apple currently has for the iPad 2 in its full connectivity version (that is, with 3G and Wi-Fi). In addition, the proposal that until now had the 16 and 32 GB iPhone 4, with prices of 600 and 700 euros in free format, respectively, would be rescued. Remember that, in addition, a new iPhone 4 comes into play, with eight GB memory, which would cost $ 550 (about 415 euros) without operator commitments.
The question that closes this chapter revolves around the iPhone 3GS. Apple announced that it could be obtained for free in the new horizon of products and prices in the United States. However, for now it is unknown what price it would have as a SIM unlocked mobile worldwide. It has been proven that in the United States it will reach a price of 375 dollars (almost 285 euros, at the exchange rate).
