The powerful HTC One X will be available in Spain from next April 16. The one in charge of putting it on our market is the operator Vodafone who, with a press release, warns that this powerful terminal with Google's Android installed - Android 4.0 version with the HTC Sense 4.0 interface - will have a price that will start from 80 euros and is associated with the contracting of a size fee.
However, it should be remembered that Vodafone stopped subsidizing mobile phones, and therefore, the following prices are intended for current customers of the operator, whether self-employed or individuals. To begin with, the HTC One X can cost 80 euros as long as the customer contracts the @XL rate, which has a monthly cost of 80 euros.
If this rate is too expensive, you can always resort to other cheaper ones and therefore, the price of the Taiwanese terminal will be more expensive. Some examples would be: with the @L rate —60 euros per month fee— the HTC One X would cost 150 euros; With the @M Premium or @M rates, the user would pay 200 and 250 euros, respectively. Or, finally, with the @S or @XS rates, the prices will increase to 370 or 440 euros. Of course, the monthly fees would go down to 32 and 20 euros.
In addition, Vodafone points out that if the current customer already has an HTC terminal in his possession, he will be able to benefit from great discounts in the Re-Estrena program. In other words, Vodafone would give an amount for the used mobile and it would be applied - as a discount - to the final price of the terminal. On the other hand, the operator of British origin will have HTC One X in limited edition for the next six weeks. In this offer, the customer can take a Dr. Dre headphones from Beats Audio - the one in charge of placing their audio technology in the latest releases of the Asian company - completely free. The specific model are urBeats.
Finally, this model can only be purchased through the Vodafone online store. In other words, you must be a customer of the telephone company and see what price is best for you. To all the prices and rates that are contracted, a 24-month permanence contract must be added, in all cases.
Technical characteristics
HTC One X is the most powerful mobile in the manufacturer's catalog. Inside it is housed a last generation quad-core processor with a working frequency of 1.5 GHz, and the one in charge of this has been NVIDIA and its Tegra 3 platform. On the other hand, the terminal has a RAM of one GigaByte, which will offer fluid performance on a day-to-day basis.
The screen of this HTC One X is multi-touch and its panel reaches 4.7 inches diagonally with a maximum resolution in high definition. To be more specific, images of up to 1,280 x 720 pixels can be reproduced. On this occasion, the technology used in this mobile is a second generation Super LCD that provides an image quality superior to what was used until now.
If what you are interested in knowing is the quality of your camera - which incidentally has two: one front and one rear - it should be said that the main lens has an eight mega-pixel sensor and that it is possible to record videos in Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 30 images per second); the front camera is for making video calls and has a resolution of 1.3 Megapixels.
Lastly, when it comes to storage, HTC One X doesn't have a memory card slot. HTC compensates for this by including a 32 GigaByte internal module and the possibility of having 25 GB more thanks to the agreement reached with the Dropbox Internet service, which offers this amount of space free for two years.
