It is one of the most anticipated terminals in the ZTE catalog and from today we can announce that it is already available in Spain. We refer to the ZTE AXON 7, the new flagship of the Chinese company, which will be sold together with another team in our country, the ZTE AXON 7 Mini, a more compact version, for those who want to spend a little less. The ZTE AXON 7 that has just been presented is a phone equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, with a 2K resolution prepared to make us enjoy great quality when it comes to playing multimedia content and video games with high graphic loads. But the new ZTE AXON 7 it is also a terminal with an iron heart. And it is that inside it has an integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor at 2.15 GHz, capable of performing together with 4 GB of RAM. This makes it a truly powerful phone to run a wide variety of applications and to do so with the guarantee that it will not leave us hanging.
In the memory section, we also find a most remarkable proposal: 64 GB of memory that we can expand whenever and however we want, with microSD cards of up to 128 GB. But with the release of this device, the ZTE company has wanted to strengthen its multimedia features. And it has done so by incorporating in the phone a double hi-fi speaker with two exclusive audio chips (AK4961 and AK4490), in addition to Dolby Atmos surround sound. It's about getting a good sound experience during playback, but also when making recordings: because the device is perfectly capable ofcapture voices up to eight meters away. As if this were not enough, the phone also comes equipped with dual image stabilization technology, advanced autofocus, and other features that will help us take really good photos and videos.
The ZTE AXON 7 will be on sale in silver in physical stores and department stores from October 14, but also through the ZTE website for 450 euros.
The second terminal that ZTE will make available to the Spanish market is called ZTE AXON 7 Mini, but the truth is that it has very little of “mini”. It features a high-resolution 5.2-inch screen and enjoys a Gorilla Gen4 layer of protection. In power and performance, the phone is not short either: and it is that it works with an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of available storage space (always expandable with 128 microSD cards GB). It has an integrated 16 megapixel camera and an 8 megapixel front camera which will be great for taking selfies.
Like the ZTE AXON 7, the mini version also has an audio chip developed by Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) that will offer us good sound quality, as well as the possibility of playing music outdoors without huge distortions.
Both teams enjoy a fingerprint sensor and work through Android 6.0 Marshmallow, although it would not be surprising if sooner or later they could be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat.
