The main Korean media have reported today that the new and long-awaited LG G7 will go on sale, quite likely, in May of this year. It seems that, now, the LG G7 will soon be a reality and both the design and the specifications, price and launch date have been leaked. Some data that, of course, must be taken with all the caution in the world.
It is speculated that April would be the month chosen to make this new flagship of the LG brand official. An LG G7 that would inherit the design with "island" or "notch" so particular of the iPhone X, in the upper central area of the screen. A small tab designed to house the front camera and not take up a lot of space from the panel.
The other specifications of the LG G7, always according to rumors, will be: 6-inch OLED screen with resolution 3120 x 1440 pixels, a Snapdragon 845 processor (improvement over the previous model, which housed the Snapdragon 821 model) accompanied by 6 GB of RAM (4 GB we saw in the LG G6) and two different versions of storage: 64 and 128 GB. The rear camera will be dual (like its predecessor model), but the megapixels will increase: from 13 we go to a dual sensor of 16 megapixels and placed in a vertical position.
As for the battery, if the numbers match, we would see a setback with the LG G6 as we would go from 3,300 mAh to 3,000. Hopefully there is a good combination between performance and energy so that the battery lasts the same or a little longer. Of course, the fast charge can not be missing, as in any good high-end that boasts.
As for the price, we see an increase: depending on the model (LG G7 or G7 +) we can find prices that range between 850 and 950 dollars (690 and 770 euros). The price in Europe is unknown at the moment although the LG G6 arrived in our markets with a price of about 750 euros, so 100 euros more may be perfectly plausible.
