The recent debut of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the good taste that it has left, despite its delay, would have encouraged the company to work on a second part. As with any self-respecting mobile, the second parts are always better, they help to improve features and details that were not solved in a first generation. This is what would happen to the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, judging by the video that the South Korean herself has shown.
The company has taken advantage of its Samsung Developer Conference 2019 for developers to unveil what its next folding smartphone would look like. In the video you can see a new Galaxy Fold more elongated than the current one, capable of folding in half to make it smaller and with a perforation in the upper part of the panel to house the front camera. This is one of the details that has attracted the most attention, since it would thus gain much more space on the screen.
The video also shows one of the possible ways we would have when using the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2: with the device vertically folded at a 90ยบ angle. In this way, we could control the phone with the lower part of the panel displaying the upper part (as seen in the left photo of the image). This would be very convenient when working with some applications or playing games.
For now we do not know when Samsung would officially unveil the Galaxy Fold 2. We imagine that not before next year. In any case, this revelation has coincided with the launch of Motorola's RAZR, the company's first folding phone, ready for November 13, and which is said to give a lot to talk about. It should be noted that the Samsung Galaxy Fold has already been sold in Spain for a few days at a price of 2,020 euros. The device includes features such as a 7nm eight-core processor, accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and a 512 GB UFS 3.0 storage (without the possibility of expanding). It also has a triple rear camera, double front camera, as well as a 4,380 milliamp battery with fast charging both by cable and wireless.
