Apple's iPad 2 can be purchased from Orange. The company of French origin has communicated it today, according to information from the EFE agency. The company will distribute the last tablet developed by the firm bite of the apple in ten countries in total, among which is Spain.
At the moment, Orange has not given details about the conditions in which it will offer the iPad 2, although it has been known that they will be all models currently available from authorized dealers. That is, it will be the Wi-Fi and 3G editions in each of its versions according to memory (16, 32 and 64 GB).
What has been known is that Orange will be able to function as one more authorized dealer. In other words, the option of acquiring an iPad 2 in the operator's network of establishments will not necessarily be linked to the contracting of specific rates or permanence contracts. This being the case, and although at the moment it has not been specified, we can assume that the official price of the device would be paid in that case.
The ten countries where Orange will sell the iPad 2, in addition to Spain, will be Portugal, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland and Poland. In the remaining two, France and the United Kingdom, you can already get the tablet, where a policy of subsidizing the terminals is also applied, as long as commitments are made with the operator.
In the case of the central division of the company, in France, an iPad 2 3G can be obtained from 280 euros, that is, with a discount of about 200 euros compared to the original price.
At the moment, the company has not announced when the iPad 2 will begin to be available in Orange stores, as well as in the company's online services, or if they will program a new price list taking advantage of the occasion.
