Retractable camera and frameless screen
If Oppo is famous for something, it is for taking risks with the design of its terminals, and it has made it known again with the Oppo Reno.
The terminal has the same design as its older brother. Retractable sliding camera that emerges from the top, on-screen fingerprint sensor and a panel that occupies up to 93% of the total surface of the front part. The screen, by the way, consists of 6.4 inches, Full HD resolution and AMOLED technology.
As for the back of the terminal, the Oppo Reno consists of a frame made of glass with the usual gradient colors in four different shades and a series of curves that accompany the ends of the phone.
Hardware with the latest of the latest in the mid-range
As for the technical characteristics of the Oppo Reno, the device has the latest mid-range processor presented by Qualcomm.
Specifically, we are faced with a Snapdragon 710 processor along with 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 and 256 GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded by micro SD cards up to 256 GB. All of this moves Color OS 6.0, Oppo's customization layer based on Android 9 Pie.
The rest of the features are not short either. Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and WiFi with all available bands. It is worth highlighting the support for Dolby Atmos for sound and Game Boost, a feature aimed at improving the performance of the mobile in games. It also has a 3,765 mAh battery with super fast VOOC 3.0 charge.
Double serving of camera without 10x zoom
It has been in the photographic section where Oppo has cut in front of the flagship model.
With two 48 and 5 megapixel rear cameras, the terminal suppresses the 10x hybrid zoom to integrate a lens that functions as a depth camera and a Sony IMX586 sensor that replicates the configuration of other mobiles such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Own Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. The focal aperture, by the way, starts from f / 1.7 and f / 2.4.
As for the rear camera, it consists of a sliding mechanism that is activated by using it when unlocking the mobile and using the Camera application. Its specifications are made up of 16 megapixels of resolution and f / 2.0 aperture.
