Yesterday the new Oppo R17 terminal was presented in society, a 'premium' mid-range phone that premiered the Snapragon 670 processor, providing the team with a neural engine of Artificial Intelligence. Now, we meet its big brother, the Oppo R17 Pro, which comes with substantial improvements. What do we gain if we opt for this new Oppo R17 Pro?

In this new Oppo R17 Pro we can enjoy, as a great novelty, the fingerprint sensor under the screen. In addition, we have a large 6.4-inch screen with a drop notch design as we can see in the following images and that provides a screen ratio of 91.5%. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 6 and has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. If we pay attention to the photographic section, we also see some printing characteristics. A dual sensor in the rear camera, 12 megapixels with a variable focal aperture between 1.5 and 2.4 (a new system introduced by the Samsung Galaxy S9 +) and 20 megapixels. It's not all: the terminal gets a third photographic sensor that will be able to capture 3D images.
Its interior houses a Snapdragon 710 processor with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz, accompanied by 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. If this seems little to you, we can increase it with a microSD card of up to 256 GB. As for the battery, we also have news. It is a 3,700 mAh battery but divided into two units of 1,850 mAh each. This provides a super fast 40% charge in just 10 minutes. In addition, it will come with Android 8.1 Oreo through Oppo's own customization layer, ColorOS 5.1.
This new Oppo R17 Pro terminal will go on sale in the Chinese country in mid-October at a price of 4,300 yuan, about 540 euros at the exchange rate. We still do not know if this phone can have global distribution beyond the Asian country, so we will continue to report on it.
