The OPPO R11 and R11 Plus are already official. After many rumors and leaks, the company has announced the launch of its two new terminals. Two mobiles that arrive ready to give a lot of war in the upper-middle range. For starters, they debut the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processors. But not only that, they have large screens, a lot of memory and, above all, a double camera on the back. We are going to go through its features in depth to see what we can expect from the new OPPO R11 and R11 Plus.

Double main chamber
One of the great attractions of the new OPPO R11 and R11 Plus is its photographic set. And be careful, because, at least on paper, both the front and rear cameras look very good.
At the rear we find a dual camera. On the one hand we have a Sony IMX398 sensor with 16 megapixels of resolution and aperture f / 1.7. On the other hand we have a telephoto lens with a 20 megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor and f / 2.6 aperture. This combination allows you to take portraits with a bokeh effect and record videos in 4K resolution. We will even have a 2x optical zoom available.
But if the rear camera looks very interesting, the front camera is not far behind. On the front we have a sensor of no less than 20 megapixels with f / 2.0 aperture. It is clear that companies are giving great importance to the front camera, as we could see in the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017.
Brand new processor
Another of the great attractions of the OPPO R11 and R11 Plus is its processor. The new models debut the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. A chip aimed at the terminals of the so-called upper-middle range, since it is located just below the Snapdragon 835.
This new chip is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM in the OPPO R11 and 6 GB of RAM in the OPPO R11 Plus. As for the internal storage, the OPPO R11 has 64 GB and the OPPO R11 Plus with 128 GB. Both can be expanded by microSD card, although if we use it we will lose the possibility of carrying two SIM cards.
We now talk about the drums. The OPPO R11 has 3,000 milliamps and the OPPO R11 Plus with 4,000 milliamps. The latter stands out for its great capacity, since the difference in size is not so remarkable. Both have a fast charging system.
Metallic design
OPPO has always maintained a very similar design in all its terminals. Yes, it is a design that reminds us too much of Apple's iPhone 7. However, that doesn't have to be bad. We have rounded edges and really narrow edges on the screen part. Just below this we find an oval button, framed in a metal ring, which works as a Home button. As usual, under this button we have the fingerprint reader.
The back is all metal, with a smooth design. Again it reminds us of the iPhone 7 Plus, with the cameras located in the same place and standing out exactly the same. The antennas have been placed discreetly so that they do not break the aesthetics of the terminal.
Price and availability
At the moment , neither the price nor the launch date of the new OPPO R11 and OPPO R11 Plus have been revealed. As soon as we have the data we will update it.
However, if we are based on the latest brand launches, the OPPO R9S and the OPPO R9S Plus, the price of the OPPO R11 could be around 400 euros. The largest model, the OPPO R11 Plus, would be close to 500 euros.
