After almost two years since Oppo presented its flagship, the Chinese manufacturer has just launched the natural renewal of the Oppo Find X. The firm has chosen this time to present two terminals, the Oppo Find X2 and the Oppo Find X2 Pro. The biggest difference from the original phone comes from the design. We no longer find any retractable mechanism, but rather a perforated screen that houses a single camera module. The rest of the features come to be updated with respect to the 2018 model.

Design: no shark fin involved
So is. Oppo has decided to scrap the identity seal of its flagship to make way for a more conservative design. The two phones now use a single block made of metal and glass with a hole in the screen to house the front camera. Even with all this, the company has managed to take advantage of the frontal space up to 93% with respect to the total size of the equipment thanks to its very thin frames.
If we talk about the screen, the two models have a 6.7-inch diagonal panel and 3K resolution (3,168 x 1,440 pixels). Both have a maximum brightness level of 800 nits with peaks of up to 1,200 nits if we activate the automatic brightness outdoors. The refresh rate, by the way, is 120 Hz on both devices, matching Samsung's bet with the Galaxy S20. "Ultra Vision Screen" is the name that Oppo has decided to give to this technology, precisely because of the color depth of the panel: 10 bits, the highest to date on a smartphone.
As for the back, the two terminals have a glass and ceramic housing (only in some versions) that houses the two camera modules in vertical format, although we will talk about these in later sections. It should be noted the presence of two Dolby certified speakers at the bottom and top.
Hardware: the latest in the latest with 5G and ultra fast charging
This year's high-end debuts with the latest from Qualcomm. Snapdragon 865 processor, along with a memory configuration that allows us to scale up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 type RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage in the Find X2 Pro. The Find X2 has two options of 128 and 256 GB.
You can not miss the 5G connectivity that is integrated as standard in the Qualcomm module. Neither is the presence of WiFi 6, the latest standard released by the industry. Although without a doubt the star feature is the charging technology: 65 W fast charging under the name Super VOOC 2.0.
Oppo has ensured that it is capable of obtaining a full charge in 38 minutes. The battery capacity, by the way, is 4,200 mAh in the X2 and 4,260 mAh in the X2 Pro. The connectivity is not far behind: Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual-band GPS, USB type C 3.1…
Zoom taken to another level: up to 60x
Last year Oppo launched two phones with the promise of offering a 20x high definition zoom. The company ups the ante with its latest flagships up to 20x on the X2 and up to 60x on the X2 Pro: 10x hybrid and 50x digital. This system drinks from a sensor with a 13 megapixel periscope lens. Oppo has not given much information about this sensor, but everything indicates that it has a 5x optical zoom level.
If we move to the rest of the sensors, the main camera uses a Sony IMX 689 sensor, the brightest on the market today with an aperture f / 1.4 and 48 megapixels of resolution. The latter has a couple of modes called Ultra Night Mode and Ultra Macro Mode that promise to improve the result of photographs at night, as well as in images where the lens is close to the sensor. Also, the company has introduced a video mode that promises to stabilize the image with results similar to those of stabilizer arms.
The last of the three sensors of the Oppo Find X2 uses a Sony IMX 586 sensor with 48 megapixels of resolution and a 12 ° wide-angle lens. The Oppo Find X2 uses a 12 megapixel sensor. The front has a single 32 megapixel sensor, although the company has not given many details.
