Oppo is currently one of the manufacturers that is bringing the most innovation to the smartphone market. Good proof of this is the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, with its motorized front camera in the shape of a shark fin. However, what no manufacturer has yet achieved is to offer a terminal with the camera integrated under the screen. It seems that it is the goal of all manufacturers for the next year, thus being able to avoid annoying notches and also motorized systems whose duration is not too clear. But, what if we did not have to wait until next year to see the first mobile with a front camera under the screen? Apparently, Oppo could give us a pleasant surprise on June 26.
As we said, Oppo is a manufacturer that likes to innovate. From the hand of this Chinese manufacturer we met one of the first mobile phones with a sliding screen. As this system did not seem to convince the general public, despite its spectacular nature, in the new generation the manufacturer decided to put the front camera inside the body of the terminal. To get it out, the Oppo Reno has a motorized system, another of the manufacturer's specialties.
But we already know that there are many users who doubt this system. Not for its effectiveness, which is proven, but for its durability. A moving part with a motor is not exactly the system that gives the most confidence. What happens if we drop our cell phone? How many openings will the system last? These are some of the questions that the user asks himself.
Oppo will present the first mobile with an under-screen camera on June 26

Be careful, because it is not a rumor or leak. It has been Oppo itself that has posted the small video that you can see on these lines on Twitter. In it you can clearly see a terminal with a camera under the screen. Although the video is very short, it slightly shows how the alleged under-screen camera works.
Although the solution seems interesting, there are many unknowns that we have to solve. For example, how Oppo has managed to insert the camera between the pixels of the screen. Or what happens when the camera is not used, the “gap” for the camera will be noticed in the displayed image. What does seem clear is that a front camera of these characteristics will offer a much lower quality than current cameras.
All these questions and many more seem to be solved very soon. Oppo itself has published the poster of the presentation event that will take place at the MWC in Shanghai on June 26. We are impatient to know the new Oppo mobile with a camera under the screen.
