Table of contents:
Following in the footsteps of Xiaomi, Oppo has confirmed that starting next summer it will officially start selling its smartphones in Spain. The company will not only focus on our country, it will also expand its tentacles in other European territories such as France or Italy. As has been reported, the products in the Oppo catalog would arrive directly at approved stores in Spain. That is, unlike Xiaomi, the Asian would not have its own store.
Everything indicates that MediaMarkt and Carrefour, as well as mobile phone operators such as Movistar and Vodafone, will be in charge of supplying Oppo devices. However, the agreement with the mentioned companies has not been closed, so there could be some last minute changes. There is talk of summer, but from Gizchina they give a more specific date. This medium points to June as the month in which Oppo phones will begin to be sold in our country.
Oppo's current catalog is made up of more than 20 different models. Some of them offer very current features. We can mention for example the Oppo R11s, one of its latest releases. This device boasts an infinite screen, dual cameras and fast charging. There are others that are also very interesting such as the Oppo F5 or the Oppo R11 Plus. Let's see below some of the most representative Oppo equipment, which we will be able to access much easier from June.
Oppo R11 and R11 Plus
In June of last year, Oppo announced two new phones: Oppo R11 and R11 Plus. Both have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 processor and a dual camera. Specifically, the main sensor offers 16 and 20 megapixels with apertures f / 1.7 and f / 2.6, respectively. Another advantage is the secondary camera. They include a 20-megapixel selfie sensor with f / 2.0 aperture, one of the highest on the market.
These features are common in both models. The main differences between the Oppo R11 and its Plus variant are found in the screen, RAM, storage and battery. The standard model offers 4GB of RAM, 64GB of space, and a 3,000mAh battery. The Oppo R11 Plus arrives with 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB for storage, and a 4,000 mAh battery. Its panels are 5.5 and 6 inches with Full HD resolution. Also, both have a Color OS 3.1 system based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and a fingerprint reader.
Oppo R11s
One of the latest releases from Oppo has been the R11s. This equipment has a 6-inch AMOLED screen and 1,080 x 2,160 resolution. Its main novelty is that it offers a ratio of 18: 9. This means that its panel is infinite, one of the current trends in telephony. Inside this model there is room for an eight-core Snapdragon 660 processor that can work at a clock speed of 2.2 Ghz. This chip is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The space can be easily expanded by using microSD-type cards.
Regarding the photographic section, the Oppo R11s equips a double main camera of 20 and 16 megapixels. The first sensor has a focal aperture of f / 2.6 with autofocus. The second sensor has a focal aperture of f / 1.7 with phase detection autofocus. You can also enjoy video recording at 2160p @ 30fps. The rear camera is not bad either. It has a resolution of 16 megapixels with a focal aperture of f / 2.0 and FullHD video recording. For the rest, it also offers a 3,200 mAh battery and Android 7.
Oppo F5
With a 6-inch screen, the Oppo F5 is another of the devices with an infinite screen from the Asian firm. This panel has a resolution FHD + 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. It is the same size as the Oppo R11s. Inside the Oppo F5 there is room for a MediaTek Helio P23 processor. Accompanying this chip we find two variants according to memory and storage. A model with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of space and another with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Both versions can be easily expanded using microSD cards of up to 256 GB.
As is usual in Oppo, the photographic section of the F5 does not leave you indifferent. It integrates a 16 megapixel main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and LED flash. On the front, a 20-megapixel sensor and f / 2.0 aperture for selfies stand out. The best thing is that a powerful beauty software capable of analyzing more than 200 facial features is added. In addition, we will have the opportunity to take selfies with a bokeh effect. And is that the camera can detect the scene of the image, adapting the lighting. To all this set of benefits must be added a 3,200 milliamp battery and a fingerprint reader (located on the rear).
Oppo A83
At the end of December the company announced the Oppo A83, a mid-range phone with an infinity screen. Specifically, the terminal has a 5.7-inch panel with 18: 9 format and HD + resolution (720 x 1440 pixels). Inside it there is room for an eight-core 2.5 GHz processor, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. This space can be expanded by microSD up to 128 GB.
The photographic section is much more discreet than that of the previous models. The Oppo A83 has a 13-megapixel main sensor with LED flash and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The terminal also has a 3,180 mAh battery and Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
