One of the easiest ways to know if a phone belongs to the entry-level, mid-range or high-end range is by looking at the phone's capacity in terms of RAM. For all those who do not know, the RAM memory is in charge of keeping the processes executed in the background, without closing them. Thus, each time we needed to open them again, they would take less time, since they would already be open. In the entry range, phones usually have between one and two GB of RAM; the mid-range usually stays in the range that goes between 3 and 4 GB of RAM; the high-end points to figures between 6 and 8 GB of RAM.
Oppo Find X with 10 GB of RAM
Now, the Oppo brand, which today presented its new Oppo Realme 2 Pro mid-range, presents what could be the first phone with 10 GB of RAM. It is a variant of the new Oppo Find X that has just been seen in the TENAA of China, a regulatory body that certifies all phones before they go on sale in stores. Of course, whether it becomes the first phone with 10 GB of RAM depends on when it goes on sale. Perhaps other terminals will overtake you in this race, such as one of the VIVO brand, interested in launching a computer that reaches 10 GB of RAM.
The Oppo Find X model that has been seen at TENAA has, in addition to 10 GB of RAM, a bulky storage space of 256 GB. I do not think that, with this space, no one is going to miss the microSD card slot, also if, on top, we take into account the infinite storage of Google Photos.
The Oppo Find X is a terminal that made an appearance in our lives back in July of this year. It is a high-end terminal, with a 6.42-inch screen and a Full HD + resolution. Its design, belonging to the high range, is quite premium since it is built in glass and aluminum. However, one of the factors that most differentiates this terminal from others is its front camera, which is 'removed' from inside the body of the phone itself, in order to leave more screen on the front. This mechanism can also be seen on the Vivo Nex phone. By the way, Oppo and Vivo belong to the same business group.
A phone without a fingerprint sensor
Another of the striking elements that we have in this Oppo Find X is that it does not have a fingerprint sensor, leaving biometric security in the hands of its facial recognition technology. To unlock the phone, we will have to look at the screen directly.
As for the inside of the hood of this Oppo Find X we find a Snapdragon 845 processor accompanied by a RAM of 8 GB (for the moment) and an internal storage of 128 and 256 GB. In this terminal, what we do not have is going to be a 3.5 minijack port for headphones, so we will have to buy an adapter for the USB Type C output. Regarding autonomy, we have a 3,730 mAh battery with VOOC Flash fast charge.
This mobile promises to be the first Oppo brand terminal to be sold directly, without intermediaries, in our country at a price of 1000 euros. As soon as we have news that you can already buy in our country you will be duly informed.
