Oppo, the Chinese company that arrived a few months ago in Spain, will soon launch a new series of devices called Reno. While we wait, they launch the OPPO AX5s, an entry range with modest features, but which does not lack battery, camera and screen. Do you want to know it?
The OPPO AX5s is a device built in polycarbonate, with a shiny and slightly curved back. Despite the construction materials, the naked eye looks like an elegant device. The company logo is right in the center. At the top we can see a double camera accompanied by an LED flash. What about the front? A screen with a 'drop type' notch, where the camera for selfies is collected. At the bottom a frame of moderate dimensions. The sides of the device do not present anything new. Where is the fingerprint reader? It seems that the company has wanted to do without this method of unlocking, perhaps so that the price of the device does not rise.
3 GB of RAM memory and double camera
The OPPO AX5s has entry-level specifications, with a 6.2-inch screen in HD + resolution and a Mediatek Helio P35 processor, an eight-core chip accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. In the internal storage we find a single 64 GB variant, which is expandable via micro SD. Its autonomy is 3,400 mAh, which is not bad.
The dual camera has a resolution of 13 and 2 megapixels. A configuration that will help us achieve photos with a blur effect thanks to the second lens with depth of field. The front down to 8 megapixels. The terminal does not arrive with the latest version of Android, it stays in 8.1 Oreo under Color OS 5.2.
Oppo has not confirmed the price or availability of this device. We do not know if it will reach Europe. It looks like there will only be a RAM and storage variant , with 3GB and 64GB of internal memory. Of course, in two color variants: red and black.
