Long ago having a mobile with a colorful design meant giving up many features. Generally we only saw bold colors in simple mobiles, intended for young people. But this trend is changing and we have already seen several models with very original colors. This is what Oppo intends with the design of the Oppo A1, a new terminal that will hit the market next April. It will be available in three striking colors: blue, red, and a glossy white finish.
In addition, it will include a large screen, 4 GB of RAM and a simple mid-range camera system. All this together with a facial recognition system. Are you interested? We are going to know more details about the new Oppo A1.
A mobile doesn't have to be boring
The Oppo A1 sports a nice design with a metal body. The blue and red colors show a matte finish, with only the logo and camera standing out at the rear. The model in white appears to be covered with a layer of glass, as the back surface glows.
At the front we have a 5.7-inch screen with 18: 9 format. The resolution of it is not yet known, but we do know that it is coated with 2.5D glass, since it shows slightly curved edges.
Under the hood we know that the Oppo A1 has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. But the processor it uses has yet to be revealed.
The photographic section is handled by a main camera with a 13 megapixel sensor. We do not have much more information about it, but we do know that it can be interpolated up to 50 megapixels.
On the front we have an 8 megapixel sensor. The set is completed with a battery is 3,180 milliamps.
However, the most striking thing about the Oppo A1 is that it does not have a fingerprint reader. The manufacturer has bet all its cards on a facial recognition system. It seems like a pretty risky decision.
The Oppo A1 will go on sale in the Asian market next April. Its price will be 1,399 yuan, which at the change is about 180 euros.
