90 Hz curved screen and more used frames
The first difference between the OnePlus 7 Pro and the OnePlus 7 is found precisely in the design. Despite the fact that the two have a body and similar lines based on metal and glass, the vitaminized model has a more used screen ratio thanks to the disappearance of the front camera, which comes in the form of a sliding mechanism.
As far as screen characteristics are concerned, the terminal has a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED curved panel with Quad HD + resolution (2K expanded). The main novelty is found in the frequency of the screen, which happens to be 90 Hz. Improvements in this regard affect the fluidity of the system, as well as applications, games and video.
The rest of the OnePlus 7 Pro improvements have to do with the technology of the on-screen fingerprint sensor, whose system has been improved to report greater speed and reliability.
Another aspect that evolves compared to the last generation is related to the Dolby Atmos stereo sound system integrated into the two speakers of the terminal, as well as the new vibration system that promises to provide a better gaming experience.
Up to 12GB of RAM, UFS 3.0 storage, and super fast charging
If the OnePlus mobiles stand out for something, it is because they have the latest of the latest in terms of hardware, and in this regard the company has spared no expense, forming what today is proclaimed as the most powerful mobile of 2019.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6, 8 and 12 GB of RAM and storage capacities ranging from 128 to 256 GB. The latter is based on the new UFS 3.0 memory technology, the fastest to date and that no phone except the failed Samsung Galaxy Fold includes today.
As for the rest of the OnePlus 7 Pro features, we find Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, WiFi compatible with all bands and dual-band GPS compatible with all satellites. Finally, it is worth highlighting its 4,000 mAh battery together with the Warp Charge fast charging system capable of charging 50% of the device in just 20 minutes through the integrated USB Type-C cable. The latter, by the way, is compatible with 3.1 technology, which gives free rein to connect the mobile to external screens to turn it into a whole computer.
The wide angle reaches the cameras of OnePlus
Along with the design, the main difference of the OnePlus 7 Pro compared to the OnePlus 7 comes from the photographic section.
Three cameras of 48, 8 and 16 megapixels with telephoto lenses and 117º wide angle in the case of the last two and focal aperture f / 1.7, f / 2.4 and f / 2.2 is what we find in the back of the terminal.
Improvements in the field of photography have to do with the brightness of the main sensor and the 3x optical zoom, in addition to the versatility provided by the wide-angle sensor. In this regard, OnePlus has integrated a series of photography modes to complement the functions of the three sensors, such as the improved Night Mode, the Wide Aperture mode, the Zoom Mode or the new HDR + Mode. Video capture has also been improved compared to the previous generation, with the possibility of recording in 4K at 60 FPS.
And what about the front camera? The Sony IMX471 sensor integrated in the slide mechanism has 16 megapixels of resolution, focal aperture f / 2.0 and integrated EIS. The only highlight of this has to do with its activation at the time of making use of the face unlock. In terms of speed, it matches that of other models such as the Oppo Reno or the Oppo Reno 10X.
