The operators increasingly put more batteries and offer a greater amount of GB at a cheaper price. O2, operator under Movistar, arrived in Spain with a single mobile rate: 20 GB for 20 euros per month. for a few days, 25 GB for the same price. Now, the company has decided to update its catalog of mobile rates and has added a new one, cheaper, for 10 euros per month. This is what it offers.
The rate is priced at 10 euros per month, and although it is half the price, it does not offer 12 GB, but 5 GB. Of course, with unlimited calls, unlimited SMS and navigation at 64 Kbps if we exhaust the 5 GB of the rate. Also, with Movistar coverage and without price increase. Nor does it have permanence or penalty. The 5 GB rate for 10 euros also offers the possibility of adding an eSIM or purchasing extra data vouchers for 5 euros. This new rate does not apply to the fiber and mobile offer. In this case, it is necessary to hire the 25 GB one if we want to pay 50 euros per month for the 300 MB and the mobile line.
Therefore, now we have the possibility to choose between two mobile rates if we want to contract O2.
Everything O2 has to offer
The first, with 25 GB for 20 euros per month. It includes unlimited calls, unlimited SMS, Roaming in the EU, download at minimum speed when we run out of data and the possibility of hiring extra data if we run out. The 5 GB includes exactly the same, but the number of data drops to 5 and we pay 10 euros per month. Both rates are compatible for new lines or portability.
As for Fiber + mobile, we have 300 MB and 25 GB (with everything included in the rate) for 50 euros per month. Or, 300 MB fiber for about 40 euros per month.
O2 is likely to raise the GB of that new rate later, as it has done with its higher rate. O2's competition offers less GB for the same price. For example, PepePhone has 3 GB with 101 minutes for about 10 euros per month. Lowi also has a similar one to PepePhone, with 3 GB of data and unlimited calls for about 11 euros per month.
