Since it was known that the Japanese company Sony was working on -at least- two new smartphones in the Xperia range, designs have not stopped appearing on the net that seek to anticipate part of the aspect with which these terminals could be presented. On this occasion the protagonists are once again the Sony Xperia Z4 and the Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra, both represented in a conceptual design made by a Romanian website ( stiri-telefoane.ro ) that has been based on the information that is currently known about these two mobiles.
As can be seen in the design, the Sony Xperia Z4 would become significantly smaller than the Sony Xperia Z3 (specifically talking about a difference of 10.02 millimeters). At the same time, everything indicates that the screen of the Sony Xperia Z4 would be slightly larger than that of the Sony Xperia Z3. In fact, the technical specifications of the Xperia Z4 that we have known so far speak of a screen that will reach 5.4-5.5 inches (while that of the Xperia Z3 has a size of 5.2 inches).
But… how is it possible that the Sony Xperia Z4 is going to be smaller than the Sony Xperia Z3 and that, at the same time, it is going to incorporate a larger screen? This design reveals that Sony's secret could lie in an obvious solution: reducing the thickness of both the top and bottom bezels of the display. Of course, the leaked images of the front panel of the Sony Xperia Z4 that have appeared on the network so far do not help us to think about this possibility, since in them it can be seen that both the upper frame and the lower frame of the Sony Xperia Z4 are apparently similar in size to the bezels of the Sony Xperia Z3.
Regarding the technical specifications of the Sony Xperia Z4, the extra-official information that is handled so far indicates that this smartphone will be presented with a 5.4-5.5-inch screen with Quad HD resolution (that is, 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution), a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, four gigabytes of RAM, operating system Android version of Android 5.0 Lollipop, a main chamber 20.7 megapixels (perhaps corresponding to the sensor IMX320 that Sonyrecently introduced), a front camera of 4.8 megapixels and a battery with 3,420 mAh capacity.
Little information is known about the Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra noted that this successor the Sony Xperia Z Ultra could incorporate a screen 5.9 inches, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, 4 gigabytes of memory RAM, a main chamber 16 megapixels and such and as noted by some rumors a few weeks, a thickness of only made 5.70 mm.
It is expected that the Sony Xperia Z4 is officially presented on January 5th of next year 2015, coinciding with the technological event CES 2015 to be held in Las Vegas (United States).
