Everything seems to indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will be the first of the flagships of the second half of the year to be presented. The pencil terminal will be made official in style on August 7. But, as is usual, we already have practically all the data on it. And the few that Samsung might have up its sleeve it seems that they will be revealed during these days. Today for example we have learned that the main camera of the Note 10 will have a new function that could greatly improve the photographic quality of the device.
The information has been leaked thanks to the official record that the manufacturer has presented this week. Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will have a system called "AI ISO" or "Smart ISO". If we look at the name, it seems that Samsung has implemented an Artificial Intelligence system capable of controlling the ISO of the camera. This intelligent system would adjust the ISO values automatically based on the lighting conditions. In addition, the filtered report ensures that the terminal will remember our preferences in the resulting shots, thus fine-tuning the system better over time.
Smart ISO but with a wider range?
The Samsung Galaxy S10 offers an ISO range of between 50 and 800 ISO. That the manufacturer has decided to incorporate an intelligent system that controls this characteristic could also mean an increase in the ISO range. However, this remains to be confirmed.
On the other hand, it is not the only novelty that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 camera could bring. If we pay attention to previous rumors, Samsung could have implemented an intermediate step in the variable aperture system. As we saw a few days ago, this could now switch between f / 1.5, f / 1.8 and f / 2.4. In addition, the Note 10 will include a ToF sensor, which we will see what it contributes when the terminal is presented.
Beyond some surprise regarding the photographic section, we already know most of the characteristics of the Note 10. We know that the screen will have 6.3 inches, the processor will be a Snapdragon 855+ in some markets and an Exynos 9825 in others, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and 3,600 mAh battery.
On the other hand, everything indicates that this year we will have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. This will have a 6.8-inch screen, 4,300 mAh battery, microSD slot (the normal Note 10 does not) and a depth sensor in the main camera.
As we said, the terminal will be presented on August 7 in New York. So we won't have to wait long to confirm if these features are spot on.
