We have already talked about the development of a Galaxy A series device with 5G connectivity. It is the Samsung Galaxy A90, and little by little we are getting to know new details about this mobile, which will be very interesting for the market of smartphones compatible with the 5G network. A new leak reveals some characteristics of this terminal, as well as its possible launch date.
The first reports on this device pointed to a design very similar to the Galaxy A80. This mobile, which has been put on sale in Spain, has a rotating camera to house a screen without frames. However, the Samsung Galaxy A90 will have a notch on the screen, which makes us think that it will not have this mechanism. Ice Universe, the source in charge of revealing this information, has also said that it will have a Full HD + panel.
Other details that we know is that the terminal will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Currently this device is compatible with a 5G module from Qualcomm. It is the same processor as the Galaxy S10 5G, but this Galaxy A90 will be cheaper. The source assures that it will be one of the cheapest 5G phones of the second half of the year. It is too early to know at what price, but considering that the current Xiaomi Smartphone with 5G is around 700 euros, the Galaxy A90 could arrive for around 500-600 euros. On the other hand, it is also confirmed that a single version with 5G will arrive.
Great battery and possible arrival in Europe
The battery of this terminal will be 4,500 mAh and will have a fast charge of 45W. Finally, a launch is expected for the months of September or October, after the Galaxy Note 10.
The latest leaks on this device have revealed the existence of a global variant, which makes us assume that this Galaxy A90 will be sold outside of China. Taking into account that in Spain the 5G network is already enabled by Vodafone, it is likely that this terminal will arrive in Spain.
