The MWC 2015 is just around the corner, and the Japanese company Sony seems to have prepared novelties that go beyond the Sony Xperia Z4. A performance test has revealed that Sony is working on a new upper-middle-range smartphone that responds to the E2303 numbering. This smartphone incorporates a 5.2-inch screen, and from some media they assure that we are facing a terminal that will succeed the Sony Xperia C3 that was presented during the month of July of last year 2014.
This new smartphone from Sony, to which we will refer to as Sony Xperia E2303 Without knowing your business name, appears to incorporate a screen of 5.2 inches reaching a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels (remember that the Sony Xperia C3 was presented with a screen of 5.5 inches with a resolution also established in 1280 x 720 pixels). The measurements of this mysterious mobile are not mentioned in the performance test, although taking into account the size of the screen we can guess that we are talking about a terminal with measurements similar to those of the Sony Xperia Z2 (146.8 x 73.3 x 8.2 mm).
If we analyze the performance test, the next thing we see is that the Sony Xperia E2303 is powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with eight cores (with core Cortex-A53) which reaches a clock speed of 1.5 GHz under the support of the 64-bit technology. The capacity of the RAM memory is 2 GigaBytes, and the internal memory space seems to be around 4 GigaBytes (it is likely that it is a storage space of 8 GigaBytes which, due to the files installed as standard, is reduced to the 4 GigaBytes). And special mention deserves the version of the operating system of this mobile, which corresponds to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
This performance test also mentions that the Sony Xperia E2303 incorporates a main camera of 12 megapixels (with full resolution pictures set in 4,128 x 3,096 pixels) and a front camera of five megapixels. The fact that the front camera sensor hostel this has led some media to intuit that this is the smartphone will happen to the Sony Xperia C3, which just stood out to incorporate a front camera of five megapixels with LED flash.
