Vodafone makes it clear, the new policy of not subsidizing terminals to new customers will not be extended to equipment such as tablets, modems or ADSL connection facilities at home. And to prove it, starting today the British-based operator will offer the new Apple iPad. Prices start from 300 euros, although to achieve this the client must agree to the contracting of a flat rate. But let's see what options Vodafone offers.
First of all, the offers are for both current customers and new consumers. The Internet flat rates start from 15 euros to 45 euros per month it costs the full price of all. Also, for the new iPad to come out for 300 euros, the customer must get the 16 GB version that combines WiFi connection with 3G / 4G connection. In addition, you must hire the 10 GB flat rate for Internet, which has a monthly fee of 45 euros. In the event that this monthly fee is too expensive, the client may also opt for the cheapest rate—Includes 500 MB of download at maximum speed— which has a cost of 15 euros. However, in this case, the price of the new iPad rises to 490 euros.
In case of deciding on a model with more capacity -remember that applications now have more weight-, the user can get the new 32 GB iPad for a price that would start from 400 euros if he contracts the mobile Internet rate with 10 GB of traffic at maximum speed or, for 590 euros if you hire the most affordable rate: 500 MB mobile Internet flat rate.
In the last case, if what you want is to acquire the superior model - the one with an internal memory of 64 GB - the price will start from 500 euros by contracting the higher flat rate and 690 euros in the case of the cheapest rate - the one that offers 500 MB—. To all of them it will be necessary to add a contract of permanence of several months. To be exact, it will be 24 months.
Of course, Vodafone advises that both current and new customers may benefit from the Re-Estrena plan that allows them to deliver an original iPad or an iPad 2 in exchange for the new model. In these cases, Vodafone will offer a discount on the purchase. The example he proposes is the following: in the case that a customer delivers an iPad 2 with a 32 GB memory and a WiFi / 3G connection, they can get a new 16 GB iPad with a WiFi and 3G / 4G connection without paying anything. But be careful, you should necessarily hire the highest data rate (45 euros per month).
On the other hand, current customers will have yet another advantage. And is that if you have contracted a rate for Sizes - those that combine calls with Internet browsing on a smartphone - will have a discount of 25 percent forever in the monthly fee of the flat rate. The rates for sizes included are all, except @XS; that is to say, the cheapest and most affordable of all.
