The South Korean company Samsung has begun to distribute in certain European countries a new update for a smartphone called SM-G901. This name corresponds to the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A (an improved version of the Samsung Galaxy S5), and the fact that the update begins to reach the European territory shows us the imminent launch of this mobile in stores in Europe. Recall that a few days ago we knew that Samsung had planned to launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A in Europe during this same month of August, so this new update does nothing more than certify that this mobile is about to be officially launched in European territory.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A is a slightly improved version of the Galaxy S5 Samsung a few months ago landed in Asian stores with novelties such as screen resolution, set in 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (as opposed to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels of the Galaxy S5) or connectivity Internet 4G LTE-a (faster than the mode 4G conventional). Of course, unlike the Asian version, the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A that we will receive in Europeprobably it incorporates a screen with the same resolution as that of the Samsung Galaxy S5 (ie, 1,920 x 1,080 pixels).
Another change from the European version compared to the Asian version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A would reside in the processor. Instead of meeting with the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 with four cores running at 2.5 GHz incorporating the Asian version, the European version we would find Exynos processor with eight cores running at a clock speed yet known.
The rest of the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A would remain intact: 3 GigaBytes of RAM, 32 GigaBytes of internal storage (expandable through a microSD card of up to 128 GigaBytes), Android operating system in its version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat, a main camera of 16 megapixel with LED flash and a battery of 2,800 mAh. Connectivity 4G LTE-A would provide a speed of up to 225 Mbps, a rate much higher than the21 Mbps that we can obtain today with 3G connectivity.
On the other hand, let us also remember that in the coming weeks (specifically on September 3) Samsung is scheduled to hold an event in which it will officially announce the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (the successor of the current Samsung Galaxy Note 3). The last thing we know in relation to this phone are intelligent data from your main camera, which is expected to incorporate a sensor of 16 megapixels (with optical image stabilizer and flash LED) you will be able to take pictures with a maximum resolution of 5,312 x 2,988 pixels.
