For weeks, the possible price of the Nokia N9 has been a matter as controversial as the possible markets where it would go on sale. The latest data in this regard come from Germany and Romania, where the first mobile with MeeGo would cost between 620 and 550 euros, respectively. In both cases it is the model with 16 GB internal memory (there will be another edition with 64 GB capacity).
Until now, the clues that were had for the price of the terminal pointed to a cost of between 470 and 530 euros, always speaking from the currency exchange from dollars. It was also learned that in Kazakhstan it could be obtained from September 9 (that is, from next Friday) for about 670 euros for the 16 GB model.
However, before this rosary of prices for the Nokia N9, the manufacturer has not yet made a statement, so it is difficult to assess what will be the recommended cost for the phone that surprised by its design and system (which in the interface section bears more than one similarity to the latest Symbian generation).
The Nokia N9 will be available in three colors (black, cyan and magenta), displaying a design that softens the lines of what began with the Nokia N8. Have a screen 3.9 - inch slightly curved and with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
It will be a smartphone with 3G, Wi-Fi and, what is most interesting, NFC, which is that system with which we can establish proximity connections that, among other things, makes it possible to use the phone as a payment platform.
MeeGo, its operating system, is focused on an audience identified mainly with the developer's profile. However, that was not an obstacle for the Nokia N9 to focus the interest of friends and strangers.
Much of the responsibility for this lies with the fact that the control functions of the phone is carried out with multitouch gestures, since the lack of physical buttons, MeeGo on the Nokia N9 is managed only capacitive commands on the screen.
In addition, the Nokia N9 carries an eight megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens (the same one that earned the Nokia N8 so much applause), accompanied by an LED flash and with the option to record videos with 720p quality and a capture rate of 30 frames per second. By the way, since you've talked about the NFC, this system also applies to instantly transfer the photos to another mobile phone that has this system, such as the Nokia C7.
