It has only been a week since the Honor 4C made its first appearance on the net, but this new mid-range smartphone from Honor - a brand owned by Huawei - has already been fully exposed. And it is not only confirmed that its presentation will take place on April 28, but a new series of filtered photographs of the Honor 4C show us the appearance with which this mobile will arrive on the market. A plastic design, touch buttons integrated in the front panel and physical buttons with an identical position to the buttons on the Huawei P8 are some of the keys to this new terminal.
Regarding the design of the new Honor 4C, rumors indicate that this new Honor mobile (successor to the Honor 3C that hit the market at the end of last year) will be presented with measures of 143.3 x 71.9 x 8.8 millimeters and a weight of 162 grams. The display will have a size of five inches (1,280 x 720 pixels), and while it is true that the side edges of the Honor 4C are very thin in the pictures, we also see that the screen (type IPS LCD, by the way) incorporates some side frames somewhat larger than usual. In fact, assuming the rumors are true, the Honor 4C screen occupies 66.9% of the front of the terminal, which is a lower figure compared to the Honor 3C's 69.2%.
Leaving the design and screen to one side, at the moment it seems that the Honor 4C is powered by a processor HISILICON Kirin 620 (developed by Huawei) of eight cores that operate at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The RAM will have a capacity of 2 GigaBytes, and apparently the only variant of this mobile will come with 8 GigaBytes of internal storage (expandable, yes, through a microSD card). To put ourselves in the situation regarding these characteristics, the current Honor 3C was presented with a MediaTek processor(MT6582) quad-core, 2 GigaBytes of RAM and 8 GigaBytes of internal memory.
The factory installed operating system will correspond to Android, although we will not find any of the Lollipop versions since, in principle, the version that this mobile will incorporate as standard will be Android 4.4.2 KitKat (with the EMUI 3.0 interface). The main camera will come with a sensor of 13 megapixels (the front camera will be five megapixels) and the battery capacity to give life to all these features will be of 2,550 mAh.
On April 28 we will have doubts regarding the technical specifications of the Honor 4C. And we will also know if its availability will include the European market, since the presentation of this smartphone will take place in China and it is still unknown if Honor plans to launch the Honor 4C in Europe. In addition, in this presentation we will also clear up doubts regarding the recent rumors about the Honor 4C Note and Honor 4C Max, two possible variants of the new Honor 4C.
