The first pictures leaked of the Sony Cosmos published a few days ago showed us that the Japanese company Sony was working on a new smartphone focused on self-profile pictures. This time, a new leaked photograph of this same smartphone confirms that the new Sony Cosmos will incorporate a front camera accompanied by an LED Flash on its right side. Therefore, we can assume that we are talking about a terminal that will succeed the Sony Xperia C3 that was presented in the middle of last year 2014.
This new leaked image comes from @upleaks , a Twitter user who has specialized in leaking data and images related to the flagships that the big manufacturers have in their hands. This user has revealed that the final name to which this new smartphone could respond is that of Sony Cosmos (without the word Xperia), and inside it could be supported by features that would include a MediaTek processor (model to be determined, although some sources speak of a MediaTek MT6752 of eight cores) and the version of Android 5.0 Lollipop of the operating systemAndroid.
On the other hand, although this new image of the Sony Cosmos shows an interface translated into an Asian language, the previously filtered photos of this same mobile showed an interface translated into English. Therefore, at first we can assume that the Sony Cosmos has a good chance of reaching the European market as well. If they do, chances are that Sony submit it officially in the next technological event of the IFA 2015, which takes place in the city of Berlin (Germany) during the first days of the month of September.
To give us an idea of the characteristics that we can expect from the Sony Cosmos, we just have to take a look at the technical specifications with which the Sony Xperia C3 was presented. This smartphone hit stores a screen of 5.5 inches with 1.280 x 720 pixel resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 of four cores running at 1.2 GHz, 1 gigabyte of RAM, 8 gigabytes - in memory using a card microSD of up to 32 GigaBytesA main camera of eight megapixels with LED flash, a front camera of five megapixels with LED flash and a battery with 2500 mAh capacity. And, if the rumors are correct, the Xperia C3 will be upgraded to the Android 5.0 Lollipop version of the Android operating system.
The IFA 2015 begins on September 4 and will have to wait until then to discover officially developments during these months preparing Sony for the mobile telephony market.
