After countless rumors and leaks about the Huawei P30 Pro, it seems that the terminal will finally end up integrating a camera with a 10x zoom of up to ten magnifications. A few days ago we could see some of the virtues of the terminal's camera in various promotional images and its performance in a leaked benchmark. Now it is the company itself that shares several real photos of the P30 Pro camera to demonstrate the capabilities of its telephoto sensor with ten magnifications. Recall that to date, the Huawei P20 Pro is the mobile with the best optical zoom, with up to three increases without loss of quality and five combining digital and optical zoom.
These are the first photographs of the Huawei P30 Pro
A few weeks ago the first photograph of the P30 Pro was leaked to the Moon. In the photograph in question, part of the camera capacity of the aforementioned device was shown. This time it has been Huawei that has shared up to four different photos to demonstrate the quality of its sensor.
The three images have been taken with each of the three cameras of the P30 Pro. On the far left, we can see the image captured with the main sensor of the mobile. The latter has a slightly angular lens, so the range of captured field of view is greater than that of a traditional lens. Right in the center of the image, you can see the photograph taken with the telephoto sensor at an intermediate zoom level (Huawei does not specify the level).
Finally, to the far right you can see the image captured with the same telephoto sensor but this time with ten increases. The quality of the latter, far from the quality of promotional images, lets us see how the sensor will work in low light situations. The terminal in hand will have to be tested to see if this loss of quality is replicated in daytime photographs.
Features of the Huawei P30 Pro cameras
As for the P30 Pro's camera specs, the different leaks reveal the following spec sheet:
- 40 megapixel wide RGB main sensor and f / 1.8 focal aperture
- 20 megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor and f / 2.2 focal aperture
- 8 megapixel telephoto tertiary sensor and f / 2.4 focal aperture
- ToF assist sensor for capturing 3D images
Regarding the front camera, the various rumors claim that it will have a single 24 megapixel sensor. The aperture level and lens type are unknown.
