James Bond is in luck, as are the rest of the Sony Xperia T users. The one that today is the reference mobile within the Japanese firm's mobile catalog is receiving during this week a pack of system improvements designed for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This smartphone is enrolled in the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update program, although at the moment the date on which it will be done with this version of the system has not been confirmed. However, while that moment arrives, a series of novelties are added to the functions of the official mobile of the secret agent 007 "" who uses this equipment in the last film of the series,Skyfall.
Among the options that are incorporated into the operation of the Sony Xperia T ”” and its review for the Japanese market, the Sony Xperia TX ”” are, for example, the mirroring option. This is neither more nor less than a system to make the content that is observed on the phone screen can be sent wirelessly to a compatible television. For this, the two devices, the mobile and the television, must have Miracast certification. In this case, the Sony Xperia T update incorporates this validation, with which we could enjoy the images and videos of the mobile with FullHD quality on a compatible TV.
Another improvement is the extension of the sleep mode, which starts to suspend some of the functions of the mobile so that autonomy is prolonged during periods of inactivity up to four times more. The main options will remain as always so as not to detract from the functionality of the Sony Xperia T, but others are disabled to extend the battery life. Also appears the option that makes it possible to make calls with high definition sound. Unfortunately, in Spain there is no technical support from the operators to provide this service, at least beyond the offer of voice over IP.
On the other hand, there are applications that also gain in performance with this package of improvements to the Sony Xperia T. For example, the photo album receives a new profile that makes the display of photos and videos gain in contrast, and brightness. To do this, it speeds up the operation of the image engine of the house, registered in the Bravia family.
Another option that is added is to watch videos on the main screen of the system interface, incorporating not only a small floating window, but also adding playback controls. Unfortunately, at the moment we have not been able to take a look at this, although from the description provided by Sony, the result seems to resemble the Pop Up Play of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Finally, the Walkman multimedia player receives aesthetic improvements, as well as a more fluid operation in order to gain agility when it is in the hands of the user.
