Screen hole and design with hints of Honor View 20
The Nokia X71 is the first mid-range mobile to dare with a design so far exclusive to the high-end and Premium range.
The terminal consists of a 6.3-inch IPS screen with Full HD + resolution and a quite unusual 19.3: 9 ratio. But what is most surprising about the panel is undoubtedly the island-shaped notch located at the top of the screen.
As can be seen in the official images of the mobile, the size is slightly smaller than the Honor View 20 and the Samsung Galaxy S10. So much so that, according to the company, the ratio reached reaches 93%.
For the rest, the Nokia X71 integrates a design line similar to that of other mobile phones of the brand. Body made of glass, aluminum frames and a rear part made up of a fingerprint sensor and the triple camera.
Hardware without too many surprises
Nokia has decided to play it safe with the Nokia X71 hardware by replicating the configuration of most mid-range mobiles.
In summary, we find a Snapdragon 660 processor along with the well-known Adreno 512 GPU, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage expandable via micro SD cards of up to 256 GB. Under this configuration we find Android 9 Pie with the incentive of Android One, the Google program that extends system updates for up to 3 years with security updates.
As for the rest of the features, we find a 3,500 mAh battery with 18 W fast charge, WiFi compatible with all bands and Bluetooth 5.0. No FM radio and NFC.
48 megapixel wide angle triple camera
If this Nokia X71 differs from the rest of the mid-range phones of 2019 for something, it is precisely because of its cameras.
Triple camera of 48, 8 and 5 megapixels with wide-angle and telephoto lenses and a focal aperture f / 1.8 is what we find on the back of the device. The company has not specified the main sensor type or the aperture of the two complementary sensors. All we know is that the wide-angle sensor has a 120 ° override.
As for the front, its only camera is made up of a 16-megapixel sensor and f / 2.0 aperture.
Price and availability of the Nokia X71 in Spain
At the moment the company has not revealed any data about the price and availability of the Nokia X71. Logic tells us that it will be from the second half of 2019 when the terminal begins to be distributed internationally.
The price, in the absence of being confirmed by Nokia, is expected to be between 300 and 400 euros.
