Nokia returns to the Mobile World Congress with strength. And for this it is expected that, during the celebration of its press conference, another new terminal will come to light. Among the candidates could be the successor of the Nokia N8 known until now as Nokia 801 or, it could also be the new Nokia Lumia 900 for the European market.
The Nordic manufacturer has not given any clues about its intentions. And to make matters worse, in the invitation he has sent to the specialized media he only refers to " Adventure in Barcelona ". Nothing else can be made clear about its purposes. In addition, like its competitors, perhaps until the end of this month of February - when the new edition of the most important mobile technology fair in the world will begin - nothing more is known.
So far it is impossible to predict whether it will be a new mobile under the veteran Symbian platform or, on the contrary, it will be a new smartphone from the new era that the manufacturer lives after the agreement signed with Microsoft to include its mobile platform (Windows Phone) in the new Nokia terminals.
It had been rumored that the Nokia Lumia 910 could be the version that Europe saw. However, after denying the existence of this terminal, in the presentation of the new white color of the current Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia could have sneaked between the images one that corresponded to Nokia Lumia 900 in white and that would be in charge of being the highlight in Barcelona next February 27; date on which Nokia plans to hold its press conference.
However, the latest leak should not be forgotten either: Nokia 801. A mobile that has appeared with the aesthetics of a Nokia Lumia 800 but that, inside, would run the new version Nokia Belle, the latest Symbian platform. In addition, according to rumors, this would be the last terminal that the Finnish would present with this operating system and that, from then on, would focus entirely on Windows Phone.
It is still not clear whether or not Nokia will present a new terminal or not. However, publications like Forbes are already firmly betting that this will be the case. In addition, the Mobile World Congress 2012 will be the ideal platform to present your plans for this brand new year 2012.
