From the sales figures, we can deduce that the Nokia Lumia 800 has earned the merit of being one of the most desired mobiles of the moment. Its careful design -based on a single piece of polycarbonate, with smooth lines and with a high aesthetic load-, its comfortable and manageable format, and the fluidity with which the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango system works are excellent arguments in favor of the first mobile that Nokia dedicates to this line.
As well. As if these - and many others - weren't enough reasons to get a Nokia Lumia 800, now we know another: to be a fan of the new Batman movie saga. We refer to the deliveries that the English director Christopher Nolan has been developing since Batman Begins, and that will come to a close in the summer of next year with The Dark Knight Rises - Batman: the legend is reborn -.
Although there is still a long way to go before the third part of the new series of films is released, Nokia wanted to pay tribute to the film by launching a very limited edition of the Nokia Lumia 800 dedicated precisely to The Dark Knight Rises. Thus, we find the version of the Nokia Lumia 800 in black, touched with the new Batman logo on the back of the terminal, as well as some content focused on multimedia material from the film.
It is unknown what type of audio and video files are contained in the exclusive The Dark Knight Rises application installed exclusively on the Nokia Lumia 800. However, in principle, one could think of two directions: either it is a preliminary version of the terminal that would go on sale between June and July 2012, coinciding with the premiere of the film - in which case, it would allow the user access images, videos and music from the film -, or at this time the application is limited to the limited handful of promotional resources that have been available so far.
In any case, we do not know what price this special edition of the Nokia Lumia 800 dedicated to The Dark Knight Rises reaches. What we have known is that only 40 units have been developed worldwide, which may well deserve the category of terminal for the most staunch fans of the batman.
