For several months, the need for the Finnish Nokia to cross the two lines that gave it the most relevance in the mobile market has been overwhelming: the most powerful of its Lumia range with Windows Phone and the imposing PureView technology for cameras installed on smartphones. The Nokia Lumia 1020 meet that imperative, betting on the best range of intelligent terminals manufacturer European with the solvency of the improved sensor of 41 megapixels that already enjoyed on the Nokia 808.
However, while waiting for the Nokia Lumia 1020 to go on sale, the question arises that perhaps the Finnish firm wanted to delay as long as possible. And then what? The aftermath left in abeyance the possibility of the company extending PureView technology to lower-end terminals. And indeed, judging by a leak coming from WMPowerUser, it seems that it could be so, although the scope of what it would imply is not entirely clear yet.
The aforementioned leak implies that Nokia would have been working on the supposed Nokia Lumia 729, a mid-range smartphone that, for the first time, would integrate the PureView sensor among its features. Thus, at least, it would be exposed in the image published by the aforementioned website specialized in information about the Microsoft ecosystem for mobiles. What is observed is a device heir to the Nokia Lumia 720 "" although with slight exceptions that we will detail below "" that on the back shows the PureView seal that we have already seen in the Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 925 and Nokia Lumia 1020. However, it would not be clear if the capture quality would be in relation to the first two mentioned mobiles or if it would be a unit similar to that seen in the third one that we have pointed out.
In spite of everything, it would be highly unlikely that he would identify with the latter possibility. Although not Flaunt capture an exorbitant power, the sensor of 8.7 megapixels we have met in the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 925 is of high quality, especially when it comes to shooting in low light scenes. And not only that. The video stabilizer that you install to shoot sequences is the best on the market. Granted, it lacks the muscular zoom capability of the 41-megapixel PureView, but we are certainly talking about a highly reliable camera that, installed in a mid-range, would mark a big step over the competition. And that is precisely what the filtering would intendNokia Lumia 729, which at first seems destined for the catalog of the North American operator Verizon, but whose internalization deployment should not be ruled out until more information is known about this equipment.
As we have pointed out, the Nokia Lumia 729 would enter the branch of the Nokia Lumia 720, although presenting a slightly retouched design that gains in ergonomics, as it seems to be appreciated in the image filtered by WMPowerUser. We verify that a small curve is described on the back that makes this side of the phone slightly concave, something that is more typical of some Sony Xperia series mobiles. At the moment there are no clues about when this Nokia Lumia 729 would be presented, and much less about its launch.
