We are a week away from Nokia showing the world its new phones, and there is still no certainty about the terminals that we will see at its annual event, Nokia World 2011, which will take place in London from October 26.
The line of mobiles with Windows Phone will undoubtedly be the star, and although we have already known some possible devices that would debut the series, everything seems to indicate that the batch of devices could be expanded with one more device: the Nokia 710.
The Nokia 710 is a mobile whose existence has been leaked through the Nokia developer website. The specialized medium My Nokia Blog has been in charge of realizing the slip of the Finnish multinational, collecting all the apparent information that so far could be highlighted about the Nokia 710.
For starters, as we say, it is known that it will have Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. It is the most modern and up-to-date version of Microsoft's system for smart phones, and specially designed to integrate with Nokia mobiles, although not only at the level that it does in other terminals, since the alliance signed between multinationals with headquarters in Redmond and Espoo goes beyond simple collaboration.
If we stop to take a look at the features that we would see in the Nokia 710, we would know that it would install a 3.7- inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (the same as almost all high-end Android).
A priori, we would think that perhaps the Nokia 710 has been confused with the Nokia 800 (or Nokia Sun, which is how it would be known that at the time was presented as the Nokia Searay prototype), but the doubt is dispelled when it is known that this model wears a Clear Black Display (CBD) panel instead of the AMOLED of that device. Remember that the CBD screen is precisely the one that the Nokia C7 carries.
The processor of the Nokia 710 is still a single-core chip with a power of 1.4 GHz, complemented by a RAM of 512 MB and an internal storage fund of eight GB, which is not bad at all.
In My Nokia Blog they assure that, in addition, the memory can be expanded with microSD cards of up to 32 GB. The camera is another point of interest of the Nokia 710. It does not get into the trenches of the very high resolution, staying in a five megapixel sensor, although it allows to capture video in HD 720p quality.
