A simple mobile with infinite panel and notch
The Nokia 5.1 Plus becomes the renewal of the Nokia 5.1, a simple mobile that we met a few months ago. Like this one, it has an infinite panel, in its case of 5.86 inches and HD + resolution. The screen ratio grows to 19: 9, so there is almost no presence of frames. In any case, Nokia has included a notch or notch to house some sensors. This detail makes the panel gain space, but it is true that it is quite annoying when viewing some websites. In fact, the included notch is prominent, very much in the style of the present in Apple's iPhone X.
At the design level, the Nokia 5.1 Plus wears an aluminum chassis with a slim and light profile. It has slightly rounded edges and a fairly clean rear, in which there is space for a double sensor and a fingerprint reader. The exact dimensions of the terminal are 149.5 x 72 x 8.1 mm and its weight is 160 grams.
Inside the Nokia 5.1 Plus there is room for a MediaTek Helio P60 processor accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. The device also offers 32 GB of internal storage, expandable by using microSD-type cards of up to 400 GB. It is, therefore, a set that is not bad at all to use simple and current applications such as Instagram, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.
Dual camera with AI
Artificial Intelligence is having a wide impact on some of today's phone cameras. Nokia has opted for this technology and the Nokia 5.1 Plus has it. This way, captures and selfies will have greater definition and brightness. On the back of the device we find a double sensor of 13 and 5 megapixels, with aperture of f / 2.0, LED flash and image stabilization. If we flip it, there is room at the front for an 8-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f / 2.2.
As for the rest of the features, the new Nokia mobile also includes a 3,060 mAh battery, Dual SIM support, as well as a USB Type-C port or FM radio. It should be noted that it is governed by Android Oreo 8.1 (Android One).
The new Nokia 5.1 Plus will go on sale from September at a price that could be around 200 euros. It will be available in black and white finishes. We will keep you informed as soon as we receive news about exact prices and availability in Spain.
