Although the Nokia 9 PureView may have gotten all the attention, the truth is that HDM has taken advantage of the MWC to present a whole new series of mid-range devices. Among them we have the Nokia 4.2, a mobile with a glass body, double rear camera, drop-shaped notch and compact size. A terminal that will surely appeal to those who prefer smaller mobiles.
For a fairly reasonable price, the Nokia 4.2 offers the user a good experience with Android One. It also has a fingerprint reader on the back and a design that reminds me personally of the most classic mobiles. It will be available in black and a very striking light pink. It will arrive next April in two versions with a price that will start from $ 170. We are going to discover its characteristics.

Glass design and compact size
Despite its low price, the Nokia 4.2 is designed in glass. It sports a front part in which the 5.71-inch screen with HD + resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels draws attention. It features a teardrop notch on the top and a large black frame on the bottom. In it we can see the Nokia logo.
The rear is quite clean, with the dual camera located in the center and in an upright position. This seems to be perfectly embedded in the case and nothing protrudes. Under the camera we have the fingerprint reader and the Nokia logo. It is an effective design with very rounded edges, which mixes some current canons with a more classic design.
The terminal has a fairly compact size, with overall dimensions of 148.95 x 71.30 x 8.39 millimeters. Its weight is 161 grams, which shows that good materials have been used.
Snapdragon processor and dual camera
Considering its price, it might be surprising to see a dual camera system on the rear of the Nokia 4.2. This consists of a 13 megapixel main sensor with f / 2.2 aperture and 1.12 µm pixels. It is accompanied by a second 2 megapixel sensor with f / 2.2 aperture and 1.75 µm pixels.
The photographic set is completed by a front camera with an 8 megapixel sensor, f / 2.0 aperture and 1.12 µm pixels.
Inside the Nokia 4.2 we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. This is accompanied by 2 or 3 GB of RAM, depending on the version; as well as 16 or 32 GB of internal storage. It also has a 3,000 milliamp battery that should give us great autonomy.
Price and availability
As an operating system, the terminal has Android One in version 9.0 Pie. That is, we will have a great experience thanks to the use of Android in its purest version.
The Nokia 4.2 will hit the market next April with a price of $ 170 for the version with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. It will also be available with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage priced at $ 200. As soon as we know the prices in Europe we will update the information.
