Nokia continues to work on new mobiles to increase its family of terminals. Thanks to the discovery of a manual, it has been possible to find out about the existence of a still unpublished terminal: the Nokia 306. According to the source, this mobile would be a new member of the manufacturer's entry range that is intended for an audience that does not want to spend too much money on a new terminal.
Nokia 306 would be completely tactile and somewhat reminiscent of the Nokia 500. Some media already place it in the Asha range along with other mobiles such as Nokia Asha 302 or Nokia Asha 203 of which, some model is already available in Spain. From the operators Orange and Yoigo, it is already offered in its catalog from zero euros. Meanwhile, it is assumed that this new model follows in the wake of its brothers and has the Symbian platform inside; Moreover, its interface is expected to be the one known under the name S40, which is intended for entry-level terminals.
The option for it to be a Windows Phone has been scrapped. The physical buttons that are shown on the front - and thanks to the images that can be seen in the discovered manual - suggest that it is indeed a mobile with Symbian. Other features that have been told by NokiaPort is to have a full touch screen with a resolution that will reach 240 x 412 pixels.
Other features is also MicroSD cards can be inserted to store all kinds of files. While in the connection part, the user will be able to find the possibility of surfing the Internet with Wi-Fi wireless points and share files with other terminals thanks to Bluetooth technology; Apparently, this Nokia 306 will not be compatible with 3G networks and the consumer will have to be content with a GPRS data network.
As for its battery, which at the moment nothing is known about its autonomy, it will have a capacity of 1,100 milliamps and can be charged using a microUSB cable, the standard that was approved a few months ago by the European Commission. Although apparently it will not forget the typical charger with a 2 mm input.
The Nokia 306 name is not an invention; On the manufacturer's official website, it has been possible to verify that the name appears when doing a search and seeing which terminals are compatible with some accessories from its extensive catalog. NokiaPort did a search in the covers and, to surprise, not only is Nokia 306 as an unpublished mobile, but up to three more mobiles appeared whose names are: Nokia 311, Nokia 605 and Nokia 305.
Nokia has not commented on the matter. What is known is that the company continues to bet on this type of terminals and that they are very well received around the world. In addition, as noted, the four mobiles could be presented for the last quarter of the year, when Nokia begins the Nokia World event that is scheduled for next September.
