It was leaked just a few hours ago and the company has finally made it official. We refer to the Nokia 2.2, the renewal of the low-end Nokia 2.1 from last year that presents a series of novelties to consider. The main one has to do with the design, based on a body with more used frames than in previous generations. Another aspect for which this Nokia 2.2 looks against the rest of the competition models is for its compatibility with Android Q, as it has the Android One program that ensures at least two years of updates.

Plastic design with removable battery
There are few new features that the Nokia 2.2 presents compared to the Nokia 2.1. First of all, the terminal has a plastic body with a drop-shaped notch whose margins reach the edge in the case of the upper part. For its part, the lower part houses somewhat more pronounced frames, with the Nokia logo dominating most of the surface.
We did not find any fingerprint sensor, just like last year's version. What we can find is a removable rear part whose possibilities allow us to exchange the battery module for another of the same model. The latter, in addition, is 3,000 mAh.
Regarding the screen, the terminal uses a 5.7-inch panel with HD + resolution, IPS LCD technology and up to 400 nits of brightness, not inconsiderable considering the price range in which it is located.
Mediatek by Snapdragon and Android Q compatibility
If we do memory, last year's Nokia 2.1 had a Snapdragon 400 series processor. The new generation opts for a Mediatek Helio A22 processor, along with 2 and 3 GB of RAM and 16 and 32 GB of internal storage.
But if something out of this is its compatibility with Android Q. Being under the Google Android One program, the Nokia 2.2 will be compatible with Android 10 at the time of its departure. Currently the terminal has the latest version of Android 9 Pie.
For the rest, Nokia has not given many details about the connectivity of the terminal. However, it is expected to incorporate Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi b / g / n and FM radio, like its predecessor model.
Simple camera for a simple mobile
In the photographic section, Nokia has decided not to make excessive displays of greatness.
With a single 13 megapixel rear camera whose focal aperture is set at f / 2.2 points and a single front sensor of 5 with the same aperture, the terminal supports 1080p video recording at 30 FPS.
We do not know more technical data of its cameras, so we will have to wait for Nokia to present the terminal in Spain. It should also be noted that it has facial unlocking through software.
Price and availability in Spain
At the moment we do not have an availability date or official price for the Nokia 2.2 in Spain. Currently the terminal is distributed in India for a price that is about 99 dollars, around 87 euros in Spain.
Its official price in Europe could reach 99 euros, although we will have to wait again for the international launch.
