Contained size with a youthful and striking design
Many users do not need a 6-inch screen, for them the smaller the terminal the more comfortable and attractive it is. The Nokia 1 Plus has a 5.35-inch screen with SD resolution. Its panel is IPS LCD so we will have good colors and viewing angles. The design of the terminal is striking as it comes in two colors, more formal black and a bright red color for those who like to attract attention.
The terminal is designed for an entry-level range and it shows in the construction materials. It is polycarbonate resistant to falls and shocks. This material is used in this type of terminals since it is cheap and its finish fits the user's hand well, and many of us use our phones with covers.
On the front we find the screen that despite not having a high resolution if it has an updated format, it is 18: 9 instead of 16: 9. The frames are not reduced, but we do not have a notch or grimace at the top. At the bottom there is a frame where the keypad could be found, but it is integrated into the screen.
Contained power for a basic user
In the bowels of the Nokia 1 Plus we will find a processor signed by MediaTek. This quad-core processor has a clock speed of 1GHz, it is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and 8 or 16GB of storage depending on the version we choose. Regardless of the version we choose, both are expandable by microSD card up to 128Gb so the user can rest easy and store data.
Its strong point is also the software, it comes with Android 9 Pie from the hand of Android One. This offers the user a more fluid experience when browsing the phone and indicates that it will update before other manufacturers. In the connectivity section we have USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, FM Radio.
Availability and price
The Nokia 1 Plus has a price of 90 euros, if we review its characteristics it is a fair price and adjusted for what it offers. It will hit the market in spring.
