From your expert we are always telling you that the best thing you can do to secure your mobile is to update it to the latest version. This way they will be installing the latest system security patches. On Android, Google regularly sends security patches to fix flaws and holes that expose our personal data. But not all that glitters is gold.
And the problem comes with the layers of personalization of the brands. Both Samsung and Xiami, Oppo or Huawei have their own Android-based operating system. And, of course, the update files are their own. And they may contain bugs or failures that ruin our experience in using the mobile. This is what has happened with the expected update to MIUI 11 with Android 10 (MIUI 11.0.4.0) in some terminals such as the Xiaomi Mi 9T. A thread has been created in the Reddit forum with affected users, as we can see in the following screenshot.
“ I used to do 9 to 10 hours of screen at the beginning of using this phone (Xiaomi Mi 9T) in June 2019. Now I hardly reach between 6 and 7 hours. The 'Android System' is to blame for this drain. I can see it by doing a scan of the battery stats. Does this mean that another application has been running in the background?
I'm not a fan of flashing the UE Rom or a custom ROM. You might consider formatting it if it doesn't improve. I don't have the option to download the latest update package again. I am very disappointed "

Xiaomi services framework on MIUI 10 and MIUI 11
Battery drain, sadly, is usually more common on the MIUI layer than we would like. And although here we deal with the problem of the new Android 10 update on MIUI 11, if you still have MIUI 10 and also have battery problems, do not miss this setting.
To see if you have the Xiaomi service framework activated , we are going to perform the following steps. This tutorial is more typical of MIUI 10. In MIUI 11 the location of 'Authorization and revocation' has changed. In MIUI 11 you will find the 'Authorization and revocation' section in 'Settings', 'Passwords and security' and you will find the option at the end.
First, you must go into the settings and into 'Battery and performance' and 'Battery use'. If you have it active, the name 'Xiaomi services framework' will appear. Once you have seen that you have it activated, we proceed to disable it. To do this we go to the section 'Manage applications', 'Xiaomi services framework', 'Permissions'.
On this screen, disable all the permissions that you have turned on. Subsequently, go to 'Passwords and security' and 'Authorization and revocation' and deactivate, then, the 'Xiaomi Services Framework'. Finally, in the same 'Additional Settings' we are going to go to 'Privacy', 'Special access to applications' and 'Battery optimization'. Search here 'Xiaomi Services Framework' and switch to 'Optimize'

This trick will have to be applied exclusively by those who already have Android 10 and MIUI 11 on their Xiaomi mobile. If you are experiencing battery drain, enter the 'Settings' of the mobile, then 'Manage applications', 'Permissions' and ' Automatic start '.
Here we advise you to deactivate everything that appears, except those applications that you want to start automatically when you restart your terminal, for example, 'WhatsApp' or any other messaging application such as Telegram. Anyway, try disabling it from startup as well, then send yourself a message. If you receive it well, please deactivate it without problems. If not, let it start when you turn on the mobile.
After the adjustments, all you have to do is restart the mobile and that's it.
Simple trick in the 'developer options'
To do this trick, we must first activate the 'developer options' in MIUI. To do this, in 'About the phone' we will press about seven times on the MIUI section until you see a small screen in which you will be warned that the developer options are already activated. In MIUI 11 we go to 'Additional settings' and a new section will appear.
Within these options you will find a great multitude of settings. Do not touch anything if you do not know what you are doing, only what we advise you below. At the end of the whole you will find two options called ' Activate MIUI optimization ' and 'Notify about high risk functions'. Disable these two options, many users claim to have experienced an improvement in their autonomy after making these adjustments.
But beware: after making these settings, you have denied permission to numerous applications, for example, to read your contacts. If you enter WhatsApp you will see that the numbers appear but not your contacts. You just have to enter the application permissions and accept them again.
