With the summer, the fixed and mobile telephony operators have to invent resources and promotions to remain as valid as in the coldest months. In the heat, customers are thrown off track and don't return to hire and buy phones until September, just as the engines of work begin to pick up again. That is why Movistar has launched a new rate for Blackberry terminals that will be in force during the summer and that will consist of a Flat Rate for 16 euros per month, in addition to being able to access the Movistar Routes service to turn our Blackberry into a well-equipped GPS.
The new Flat Rate costs 16 euros per month, which would be about 19.60 euros with VAT included. The service is available for the self-employed and SMEs, with the launch effective as of June 1, 2010. In addition to the flat rate, users can enjoy a free year of Ruta Movistar, a service that allows us to turn the smartphone into a fairly complete GPS to find the appropriate routes, both on foot and traveling by car. To be eligible for the promotion in full, the user must have a Blackberry terminal with GPSsuch as the following: Blackberry Pearl 8110, Curve 8310, Curve 8900, Bold 9000 and Bold 9700.
But this is not all. As we said at the beginning, the new promotion with Blackberry flat rate of Movistar is aimed at freelancers and small businesses. That is why companies that contract three licenses for the GPS Tracking service, whose function is to locate and follow Blackberry terminals, will be available for 10 euros per month, a price 40% cheaper than usual. Companies that want to have corporate email accounts on their mobiles will be able to access the BES Express service completely free of charge, in addition to signing up for the Blackberry rate (whatever its modality)with 54% and 83%.
