Motorola's mid-range dresses up
With the Motorola One Action, the manufacturer has decided to implement a design seen in previous models, such as the One Vision.
In this case, the company replicates the design of the front and the back, which is made up of glass-based materials. On the front of the equipment we find the now traditional island-shaped notch located in the upper left part and quite reduced frames. Its screen, by the way, is 6.3 inches, and it works under a Full HD + resolution IPS LCD panel.
If we go back to the back again, the terminal uses a fingerprint sensor located in the company logo and a triple camera system in vertical format.
Motorola skin, Samsung heart (and Google)
Perhaps the most important novelty of the Motorola One Action with respect to its predecessors has to do with the processor, a processor signed by Samsung; specifically, the Exynos 9609.
Along with this, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage of type UFS 2.1 with the possibility of expansion through micro SD cards up to 512 GB. As it could not be otherwise, we find Android 9 Pie under Android One, as it is a model belonging to the One series.
For the rest, the terminal has a 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging of up to 10 W and a USB type C port for charging and connecting the equipment using a compatible cable. The rest of the connections are made up of WiFi a / c, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC technologies.
Action camera: two independent sensors and a wide angle
It is not for nothing that the new Motorola terminal receives the Action nomenclature. On this occasion, the manufacturer has opted for a triple camera that is out of the ordinary, at least in terms of hardware.
In summary, the Motorola One Action has two 12 and 5 megapixel cameras: the first aimed at general photography with an aperture f / 1.8 and the second aimed at photographs in portrait mode with a "depth" lens. As for the third sensor, it uses an ultra wide angle lens of no less than 117º.
Although the company has not detailed its characteristics, it has emphasized that the lens supports up to a 90º rotation on the horizontal to obtain the same angle in videos and images in vertical format. To this is added the improvement in stabilization when recording videos, in addition to the Pixel Binning technology that combines the pixels four by four to obtain greater brightness and definition.
Moving on to the front camera, it uses a 12-megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 aperture. Nothing to highlight about the latter, beyond its position on the front.
Price and availability of Motorola One Action in Spain
Although the data about the availability of the terminal in Spain has not yet been revealed, we do know its price, of 279 euros in its only 4 and 128 GB version.
