The new Motorola Moto Z3 Play arrives in Spain. It also does it in a very special pack, called Power Edition. We are facing a very interesting mid-range terminal. It has a screen of more than 6 inches, Snapdragon 636 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage.
In addition, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play is equipped with a dual camera system on its rear. We even have a very premium glass finish. All this with a price of 500 euros, including the Moto Mod with extra battery. Let's review its characteristics.
High-end features at an affordable price
The Moto Z family has caught the attention of many users thanks to the Moto Mods. The modular technology of Motorola transforms mobile in a very special way. We can from having an extra battery, to using it as a powerful external speaker.
One of the last members of the family is the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, which now arrives in Spain. It is a terminal that has a 6.01-inch OLED screen and a FHD + resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.
Inside we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. It is a chip with eight cores running at 1.8 GHz and an Adreno 509 GPU that runs at 850 MHz.
Accompanying the processor we have 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage, depending on the version. The latter can be expanded using a Micro SD card of up to 2 TB.
Regarding autonomy, the terminal equips a 3,000 mAh battery. It has fast charging and a charger with a Type C USB connector. However, the pack that arrives in Spain includes the Moto Mod with additional battery. This achieves an autonomy of up to 40 hours.
As for the photographic section, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a dual camera system on the back. On the one hand we have a 12 megapixel main sensor, f / 1.7 aperture and 1.4 micrometer pixels. It is accompanied by a second 5 megapixel sensor that works with the depth of the image.
The camera features a Dual Autofocus Pixel (pDAF) focus system, a dual color correlated temperature (CCT) LED flash, and zero shutter lag (ZSL). As for the video, it allows recording with 4K resolution at 30 fps.
For selfies we have a front camera with an 8 megapixel sensor. It has 1.12 micrometer pixels and f / 2.0 aperture. This camera allows you to record video in 1080p resolution at 30 fps.
Price and availability
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play Power Edition (Moto Z3 Play + Moto Mod battery) will go on sale in the coming days with a price of 500 euros.
