This was anticipated by a senior official at Lenovo - the company that owns Motorola - and a new leak is practically confirming it: the new Motorola Moto X of 2015 is just around the corner. On this occasion, what could be the first leaked photograph of the Moto X (2015) has been seen on the network. The image shows a terminal with a design that, although it is true that it maintains the bamboo casing that has characterized the Motorola Moto X (2014), at the same time introduces a completely different design for the main camera, the LED Flash and the logo from Motorola.
If we take a look at the source of this leak (a YouTube video), we will see that it is mentioned that the new Moto X from 2015 could incorporate a 5.7-inch screen, which is far from the 5.2-inch that Until now we considered definitive. The author of this leak assures that he has more images of the Moto X (2015), but the files will not be published until his team removes all the clues that could reveal the origin of the leak (in fact, if we look at the image, we will see that the wood of the case is slightly blurred).
The fact that the new Motorola Moto X (2015) can come with a screen of these dimensions completely changes the image we had in mind of this new flagship, since while it is true that phablets have come to stay, the range Moto X is characterized by not exceed 5.2 inches screen size (4.7 inches in Moto X 2013 and 5.2 inches in the Moto X of 2014). At least, on the other hand, this same leak refers to the fact that the new Moto X of 2015 could come in two versions with two different screen sizes(one with a size of 5.2 inches and the other of 5.7 inches).
The rest of the technical specifications of the new Moto X of 2015 would remain as it had been speculated until now. Screen resolution Quad HD of 2560 x 1440 pixels, processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, four gigabytes of RAM, 32 gigabytes of internal memory, a main chamber 16 megapixels with optical image stabilizer, a battery with 3280 mAh capacity and from the newer versions of Lollipop. If the information of the two versions of this mobile is true, we would have to wait to see if both would share the same technical specifications or if, on the other hand, the largest version would also be the highest-end.
As confirmed by a senior Lenovo official, we can expect the launch of a new smartphone and a new Motorola watch in the coming summer months (July, August or September). Will the new Moto X from 2015 be among them? Time will tell.
