Motorola, under the Lenovo umbrella, would be currently working on the Moto G8 and Moto G8 Plus, which we might not meet until next February. The devices would arrive with more advanced features than their predecessors and a more current design, all screen and, according to the latest leaks, without notch. Apparently, the terminals would do without the notch in the shape of a drop of water that the Moto G7 integrates as standard, which leads us to think that a retractable system could be chosen to house the front sensor.
The new data ensures that the Moto G8, the standard version of these new members of the Moto G family, would include a 6.3-inch panel with FullHD + resolution (2,280 x 1,080 pixels) and a 19: 9-inch ratio. Inside there would be room for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. The Motorola Moto G7 landed with a Snapdragon 632, so we would be talking about a somewhat more powerful SoC for a more fluid performance. This would be accompanied by a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage (with the possibility of expansion through the use of microSD cards). If this information is true, the Moto G8 would not expand either the RAM or the storage compared to its predecessor.
Regarding the photographic section, the Motorola Moto G8 would have a triple main sensor formed by a 48-megapixel primary camera with f / 1.79 aperture that would use pixel binning technology to create better 12-megapixel captures. This would go hand in hand with a second 16 megapixel wide-angle camera, which would support a 94ยบ field of view, as well as a third 5 megapixel depth sensor. For its part, the front camera would have a resolution of 25 megapixels.
As for the rest of the features, the terminal could also equip a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charge and Android 9 Pie system, upgradeable to Android 10. For its part, and taking as reference the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus, it is expected that the Moto G8 Plus has more resolution in the photographic section, a slightly more advanced processor and a version with more storage. In any case, this model may not vary in screen size and battery or RAM.
Since there are still a few months to go before the launch of the new Moto G8 family, we will be very aware of new rumors to inform you promptly.
