Notched design and HD + display
It is possible that the notch or notch will accompany us throughout this 2019, at least that is what it seems. The Moto G family has decided to include this feature in all the terminals that have been presented. The Motorola Moto G7 Play is included in this list and therefore we find a notch of considerable size at the top. In fact, it's the largest notch in the entire new Moto G7 range.
If we move our eyes away from the notch we will find a screen whose format is elongated, with frames that have been reduced on the sides and at the top while the bottom part still retains a considerable frame that is used for the name of the company. Otherwise, the front is clean and has an aesthetic typical of the most current designs. The keypad is located on the right frame, the lock and unlock button has a lower position than the volume control. Terminal construction is stronger polycarbonate or plastic with a finish that mimics polished metal.
Turning the Motorola Moto G7 Play we will see the capsule where the 13 megapixel rear sensor is housed with the flash underneath. Right below the fingerprint reader is located, the position is very successful since when placing the hand it will be comfortable to access it. It will be available in two colors, dark indigo and gold. Both colors have just that they get attention, but without being extravagant or standing out too much.
Returning to the front, its screen is 5.7 inches with HD + resolution or 1520 x 720 pixels in 19: 9 format. The panel technology is IPS LCD. The notch or notch houses the 8 megapixel front camera with an f / 2.2 focal length. The headphone port is on the top frame while the USB C charging port is on the bottom frame. The chassis is curved to make it more ergonomic when it comes to having it in hand.
Power and memory in the Motorola Moto G7 Play
Although it is the most basic terminal of the Moto G family, it still carries a processor signed by Qualcomm. Specifically, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 with eight cores whose maximum speed is 1.8GHz, which is accompanied by the Adreno 506 and 2GB of RAM with 32GB of storage but which can be expanded via microSD. Due to the specifications it is possible that it will be able to move heavy applications or games with a high graphic requirement, but it is also true that it will have problems handling several at the same time due to its amount of RAM.
In the section on connections we find what is expected for a terminal in this range. We do not have NFC or Bluetooth 5.0 but we do have USB C, headphone port or 3.5mm jack, GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, dual band WiFi, 4G LTE, fingerprint reader. Its battery is 3000 but it has fast charging so we can plug in for a few minutes and have autonomy for the rest of the day.
Price and availability of the Motorola Moto G7 Play
This terminal will be available from March with a price of 149 euros. The only version that will be available is 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The colors with which the Motorola Moto G7 Play will hit the market are: dark indigo and gold or gold.
