The American company Motorola seems to have started working on the successors of both the Motorola Moto G (2014) and the Motorola Moto E, both officially presented during 2014. Although these new successors respond to the names of Motorola Moto G Titan and Motorola Moto E Styx, everything indicates that we are actually talking about the new Motorola Moto G (2014) 4G and Motorola Moto E 4G; that is, the new versions with ultra-fast 4G LTE Internet connectivity of these two mobiles.
Reveals filtration has been known this time, the Motorola Moto G (2014) 4G incorporate the same size as its predecessor (141.5 x 70.7 x 10.99 mm) and slightly increase the weight to 155 grams (compared with 149 grams of the Moto G). The remaining characteristics apparently remain intact, including a display of five inches with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a processor four cores (yet to be determined, although in the case of the Moto G was a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400), 8 GigaBytesinternal memory and a main camera of eight megapixels. All this for a starting price that could be around 200 euros, which is a slight increase compared to the 170 euros for which the Moto G can be bought today.
In the case of the Motorola Moto E 4G, in addition to the incorporation of 4G LTE connectivity, there also seems to be an improvement in the processor. In the opinion, the new version of the Moto E will feature a quad - core processor (model yet to be determined), which will represent a significant improvement compared to the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 of dual - core currently incorporates this smartphone. In this case we would be talking about a starting price of 130 euros, a price higher than the 90 euros that the Moto E costs today.
Both terminals, both the Moto 4G (2014) 4G and the Moto E 4G, work under the Android 5.0 Lollipop version of the Android operating system. The information about the existence of these two smartphones comes from a leak that, for now, has not been confirmed. As pointed out from the US GSMArena website, the information about these mobiles has appeared published on the website of a UK distributor. Therefore, at the moment we can not confirm that we are really talking about 4G versions of the Motorola Moto G and Moto E.
As of today, Motorola has already launched a version with 4G connectivity of a smartphone that previously hit stores without this feature. We are talking about the Motorola Moto G (2013) 4G, the improved version of the Motorola Moto G (2013) that hit stores in 2013 (the version with 4G connectivity was presented in 2014). In this case, the version with 4G connectivity can be purchased today for about 170 euros, while the conventional version is priced at around 150 euros.
